@@Highseasonco I find Social Media Marketing a subject very hard to master (that's why agencies like yours exist!). I am learning to do all that for my online store start up. Actually on IG, I see young guys do nothing but simply posting pictures of themselves in nice clothes, especially suits, and easily get 5k-10k Likes, with 200k subscribers, whereas I take the effort to make high grade videos, paying attention to all the details, and investing so much time and energy (money as well in some cases), and are barely getting a few hundred views and mostly single digit LIKES. I am in the men's clothing business, and I see the same thing with other IG channels, the guys, not necessarily good looking, and the products are bad in some cases, and all they do is a few photos, very DIY look, and videos showing a few seconds of themselves with some stupid posing, and get those same great results as those young handsome guys. So that raises the big question: are all the talks about consistent posting, focus on reels/videos, deliver value to viewers, pay attention to the quality of filming/sound etc, write SEO friendly descriptions, clever use of Hashtags.......really that important? Many - not some - "get away" without any of these and are doing very well. What's your take on these observations? We are 3 months into this, with 30 posts, are we overly pessimistic ?
@@Highseasonco Just my 2 cents to share with your audience, from my 3 month's experience of promoting my store on IG: most people are ordinary people (no offence!), they don't like serious stuff, maybe life itself has gotta the best of them! So content that are fun - or at least not serious - seem to get the best results. I am in the men's clothing business. I've been making content that are perhaps "too serious" for most, even though I pride myself in the quality. In contrast, most successful channels are playful, DIY like, have handsome faces, gimmicky and even foolish. They are the ones that are getting 5k LIKES for a photo with no description/hastags and 300k subscribers - not mine! So I have a lot to learn! I mean let's face it, as long as you are NOT LV or Hermes, you don't have the resources like they have to make 'pro" content (but even they are NOT serious most of the time, eg a stupid cartoon), so our content shouldn't try hard to look "pro"!
