- The Minnesota Timberwolves cooked the Denver Nuggets 106-80 in Game 2 behind Anthony Edwards' 27-point game. Nikola Jokić finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds, while Jamal Murray scored only 8 points. Colin Cowherd explains why the reigning champs are done. The New York Knicks edged over the Indiana Pacers 121-117 after two controversial kickball and illegal screen calls on the away team. Jalen Brunson's hot streak continued after finishing with 43 points in his fourth-straight 40-point game. Colin makes a good point about the NBA shifting. If (when) the Nuggets lose this series, It will be 6 years straight that the defending champions lose before the conference finals. We might be experiencing the non-dynasty era. Maybe it's because of the new cap rules, maybe it's teams get drained easier, or maybe there's more parity.. I'm not sure why but it's a pretty clear trend that going back to back is harder than ever

Denver's done. I watched the Post Game Interviews. I only like what I heard from Reggie Jackson. Everyone else was hanging their heads with the exception of Coach Malone. Murray, KCP, and Jackson are all beat up and they seem surprised every time that they bring the ball up with Minnesota's defensive intensity.
The Knicks will need to pick up a free agent center in the summer. They should consider Nola Vucevic Brook Lopez and or Jonas Valancuiunus.

Arrogant is the exact word I was thinking of when watching the Wolves Nuggets game last night. Nuggets are acting like they're in the middle of being this storied dynasty and they were entitled to all the calls. You won once. Congrats are in order for that. But they just couldn't believe that the T-Wolves aren't scared of them one bit.

T-Wolves turned up their #1 defense in the regular season by a notch and we've got ourselves a '90 style basketball, the difference is, these guys can shoot 3's as well. KAT is averaging .538 from downtown and Naz Reid is averaging .393. Also, their top 8 players averaged 76 games in the regular season and everyone is healthy in the playoffs, I feel they're as hungry for a title as the 1991 Bulls.
