@@Luileadolfo I saw David with CSN during probably the end of CSN. He carried Stephen Stills (his voice was really hurting) and Nash. His voice was incredible. Better than I had EVER SEEN and I saw him probably at least over 30 years, starting in the 1980's. I was always amazed at how his voice improved.
I rarely ever leave comments and now that I am, I simply can't find the words to accurately express what I am feeling right now. It is indescribable. I have always liked this song but never thought it was spectacular until now. I never would have imagined that it could sound like this or move me in such a profound way. The musicianship and the overall sound and production are beyond excellent. It was literally a transcendent experience for me.
I saw Crosby,Stills & Nash without Stills once and once with Young five times. May the Wind on the Water whilst upon your Wooden Ships carry you David. ☮️☝️🙏💜
The best deja vu I've ever seen. Sometimes there's is real magic in the air and now it is. Beautiful piano by his son Raymond and when Jeff Pevar comes in it's almost not from this world, so much feeling and passion. He sure knows how to get some sound out of his guitar. David Crosby only smiles, this is just the way he likes it. What a great band!
Well said foggy. Versatile band, beautiful piano, mellifluous guitar, excellent rhythm section. All-in-all it's a mind blowing listen. Shall miss Croz greatly.
I just found out that David Crosby passed away. I can’t even believe I’m typing this. Out of all the things on UA-cam featuring him, this was the first thing I listened to. And my favorite thing of all things on UA-cam. I knew this day would come. I’m gutted. Absolutely gutted.
All around the 5 minute mark, watch Crosby marvel at the brilliance of the young man who is his son; and watch how he searches within for the note or chord that might bridge the distance between them. This is more than just 'music'.
Marvelous. Perfection live, and in Holland even? How did I miss that (I'm Dutch)? All players, but especially Jeff. Just discovered him recently (and I play guitar myself). And the piano too, do I hear Lyle Mays in there? Fantastic! 👍
Absolutely incredible. So much talent in the room. Great solo by Raymond, great solo by Pevar. And the magic of Croz. I had to back this up and watch it again. Stunning. Sidenote for UA-cam......what the hell.....you put two commercials inside of this! Pitiful.
I come back to this time and time again. No rendition of this song moves me more. It courses through my veins. It is so amazing. I love it so much. My body and my mind has a reaction to it; I know that if I was hooked up to a machine it would show the reaction to my brain.
I grew up with David. From the mid 60’s thru late 60’s n 70’s and onward. Saw him many times with Nash n Stills and once with Young. But…. He was my last live concert before covid n lock down 2019. Haven’t been to a live concert since not concerned as Crosby was my last live show. Thank you David. At 72 I’m most likely done with live concerts but ya never know.
The original tune is fabulous, but this new jazzy arrangement, with the piano in particular, gives it another different and deeper fabulous definition. Just love it.

David is so damn proud of his son!!! I agree ...a masterpiece....so glad I stumbled over it about 9 months ago.... pure genius musicians.... totally in love
I’m so happy that at the end of his life a son, and what a son… a great musician who admires his father through everything he’s got… he tamed the rebel! 💖
Crosby has a big mouth. Speaks the truth, like it or not. This shows me who is the true force behind CS&N. None of those other Saints have put out anything close to this. This is creative and so beautiful. I'm a big Crosby fan. Love this Band.
I do not have the words to express the Beauty and Musical Genius I find in watching and listening to this Masterful work. Mr. Crosby I am 69 and you have delighted me more than any other my entire life. May You Rest In PEACE. THE WORLD WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. YOU BRING TEARS TO MY EYES AND LOVE TO MY HEART. THANK YOU IS NOT CLOSE TO ENOUGH.
Live your life so that you're worthy of David Crosby beating his heart with his fist at something you've done. This is very close to the top of my list of perfect musical experiences on so many levels. I played Deja Vu on an RCA record player with a two inch speaker, having bought the record the day it came out. The original is burned into my brain. To hear it transformed, transmogrified, elevated to this amazing performance is a gift.
This was a REMARKABLE BAND. I love them all, but Jeff Pevar is over the top! This guy can do more with one bent note than just about anyone. I have corresponded with him via text, and he is both accessible and accommodating where friendly questions are concerned. He was glad to fill me in on his gear setup and that remarkable sound he created. Same goes for David's crazy remarkable vocal power and lyrical beauty. James Raymond is exceptional on piano... JUST stunning. This performance is musically surreal. Hop on, 'cos these guys are gonna take you for a wonderful ride that you'll not soon want to return from.
Wow! This is absolutely brilliant. I am ashamed to say that I had never heard of CPR until Crosby's passing, and since that time I have come to see how amazing they were. Its a shame they did not get more airplay at the time they performed, because the musicianship is just incredible. Crosby is no surprise in this regard, but Pevar and Raymond are (at least for me). Judging by this, I would say his musical legacy is in extremely good hands......
I cannot stop listening to this magical, beautiful Déjà Vu. Such sweet feelings come over me as I remember my first time hearing this song so many years ago. I was 10. Great musicianship. You are all truly masters!. Beautiful gifts! Thank you! ❤️
To quote the youngsters, OMG! I am 69 years old and been a fan of Croz since the first time I heard Mr. Tambourine Man, the Man Croz wasn't appreciated, or given the genius in that regime either. David, you have found YOUR group of humans to play with, souls that have finally found "What's Going On" inside your musical soul....I'll bet...they even understand how you lend the Croz discord to the feel, which most miss to put their fingers on....but THAT'S one of the subtitle things that you have always had in your music. Thank you so much! Now, and I am sorry it has taken me until tonight to discover this; but I would LOVE to hear this group of like minded musician souls to redo David's best work EVER, with YOU..."If I could Only Remember My Name", your best total and "only you" Work.....PERIOD!!! I would be in Heaven and I'll bet you would be too, David! Please live forever, you tough old bird!!!!

One of my all time favorite songs and I think this version is better than the original! Incredible passion and feeling. The piano solo is extraordinary. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening! Thanks for posting!

Pevar's work on the volume pedal is just masterful...the vocals and harmonies are soaring, and Raymonds piano solo is gorgeous. Bravo! I am now hunting YT for more CPR!
Get everything you can, from what I have heard some are out of print but I saw their first masterpiece CPR on Amazon for $2 if sin exists that's a sin. Take that music everywhere you go it will enhance everywhere you go. I've taken it to the beach the mountains and just in my car! Brilliant!
This is footage from the dutch television program called 2meter sessies (two meter sessions) way back in 1998. They band is performing in the old abandoned police station in the city of Hilversum in the Netherlands. Indeed a great performance.....It doesn't get any better than this Michael.......

RIP Crosby, this version of this song is one of my favorite things he ever performed.
Csn also respectively did a beautiful version of Mr Fantasy. Look it up❤
The last ten years he made his best music
Agree.

This ensemble is the prime example of the planets in perfect alignment. Never again will we get to experience anything so exquisite
I dont have words to describe it
I fucking LOVE David Crosby, I don’t care what he’s done - his music is a gargantuan gift to the world. And that guitarist he has is killer, too…
Rest peacefully croz, and thanks for ALL the wonderful music you blessed us with throughout our lives 😔🙏🏻🎶🎼🎵🎸🎹
