I am so sad that I missed visiting the Monument on my SA visit in 2005. EFF thugs want money for nothing...and the chicks for free.... . May the Lord protect this wonderful building. If I ever make it to SA again, I will visit this place of devotion to the Lord and boer farmers.

The black person interviewed explained the situation very well and the position of management outlining their efforts to find a solution are clear. That said it is clear that the workers have no intentions to cause damage that could result in loss of their jobs. The real problem is the insidious presence of the EFF, they seem to turn up to be destructive rather than constructive. Hopefully a fair solution will emerge. As an aside are there no white workers looking after the monument?

I dont know much about the law, but dont we have something like an independent organization that can challenge the political parties involved to pay compensation to the state for damages done to public streets and buildings on behalf of the general public by these political parties members involved? Maybe Afriforum? All of these political parties members that always do violent demonstrations burning tyres destroying the road surface, breaking street signs and traffic lights, destroying buildings, looting....Is it not true that, as a driver on public roads you are liable to a fine of up to R10 000 per street light damaged due to an accident if found guilty of reckless driving? These violent demonstrations and random tyre burning on street corners are reckless in my opinion and causes the law abiding citizens hard earned tax money to go towards repairs not needed just so they can burn it all down again!! Start holding the parties accountable for their members actions!!
