On the benchmarks that I've done recently disabling fullscreen optimizations in The Finals actually reduces FPS instead of increasing them, idk about input latency tho but im pretty sure its not worth it. On some games disabling fullscreen optimizations does improve performance but in other it doesnt. Enabling the High DPI Scaling behavior does actually work. So in general I recommend only enabling the High DPI Scaling behavior on the Discovery.exe and not Disable Fullscreen Optimizations. Tested on RTX 3070, Ryzen 5 5600x using Capture Frame X
I have a RTX 4070 super and a r7 5700x, I play in 1440p, and in any graphical settings I get around 50-60 fps with massive stutters (obs open but I only get that problem with this game)
Unreal engine 5 seems to be very cpu intensive with its complex physics algorithms being calculated in the background. I’d recommend looking into how you can optimise cpu performance. I don’t know how to optimise amd cpus but maybe look in to how you can make windows prioritise the game when playing, and removing any extra background applications that are pulling resources away from the game
😎 Hey! Thanks for the informative video! I just wanted to let you know that you mentioned you put the text to copy and paste for the Engine.ini in the description but I think you forgot to put in there. Keep up the great work! [/script/engine.inputsettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
playing it on a 4090.. brag did not know about the raw mouse input settings - thanks! also that discovery.exe compatibility mode tweak and disable windows optimizazions
i have gttx 1660 super and i have oced it in msi afterburner and i get like 120fps stable and my cpu is amd ryzen 5 3600 i wanna upgrade my system just becasue of this game
can you please help me with Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG') , it says unreal engine but i dont have the game downloaded from epic games but steam . i tried verifying the game files putting dx12-11 , i have no idea what to do and dont even know what the d3d error is
Sorry to bother:I wanted help about discord .my acc got hacked i run a file in my pc and my pass of discord got changed but i still have the acess of email of that acc and i can change the password .but i do forget the backup code/multiauth code can you help pleas
The best setting are to turn everything to epic, there is no difference between everything epic vs any of the other presets. DLSS also doesn't increase anything more than 1 FPS and neither does raytracing amount. Anything under epic or epic with DLSS lowers GPU utilization but yields same frames. This doesn't obviously seem like a CPU or GPU utilization issue, as neither seem to be pinned at high utilization, so maybe a soft cap of some sort.

Thank you so much for the good video mate

What about using amds super resolution or will that not get me extra frames

I wish
I have i7 9700 2070 super, what fps can I be expecting on all low graphics, currently averaging around 100, lowest being 75 on the Las Vegas map
120 to 130fps in 2k ( TAAU - 80 to 85% G-Sync - off )
good job brother!
can you show your input latency with Fullscreen Optimizations and without please?
Why would you not use DLSS? It essentially only gives you more fps with no drawbacks
DLSS makes the visibility terrible

usually either something with gpu driver, gpu itself or too overclocked
thanks dope video
my game started to black screen after i did these steps:(
i think it's the step with fullscreen optimization i see a lot of people got the same problem as you
Hey, can you please make a new video or refer to a video for the best 3d image settings for NVidia

Man, i have 1060 6 gb, if i turn everything to epic i would have continuously crashes over and over again
bad advice, doesn t work for me
you talk to fast oml
@@DittyBitty69 haha ikr
Dude, this game is almost unplayable in any resolution lower than 4K, even in 1800p it looks blurry as hell
