Dennis McCarthy said the OG hero car from Veilside made around 600hp. That's like double of what u claimed! Seriously this looks lot better than 300 horses as the stock one has just under 300.... ALSO with that NoS shot it's impossible to say 300 HP
That could have been true except that the rx7 this car was based off of was the 255 horsepower rx7 and not the top of the line one that could have made 300 horsepower and the turbo set up wasn’t properly tuned to make anything higher than 300 horsepower the car only needed to do two things be reliable enough to run and do all the scenes it would be needed in and to drift 🤷🏽♂️ .fun fact the supra from 2 fast 2 furious was sent to greddy and the hero car was highly modified what Craig Lieberman the technical advisor of 2 fast 2 furious and the fast and the furious said was a 800 horsepower capable set up this was in like 2002 the car never made that power and I bet right now it’s still turned down in Germany with its owners chrome cars

Well damn Hollywood sure sucsk at tuning their cars even though they are only tuned to served certain purposes... Atleast the RX-7 had an HKS turbo installed.

A stock 255 bhp FD runs 5.1-5.3 0-60. Something isn't adding up here. The body kit and huge tires can't slow it down that much, could it? I'm guessing the engine is very tired and needs a rebuild.

Nothing? :rolls eyes: Yes, cars make a lot more power today, but they weigh almost twice as much as an FD. Btw, 300 bhp out of a 1.3 liter/80 cubic inch engine is pretty damn impressive. Idiot kids that modify the crap out of them bitch moan and cry when they blow up and then spread the word that a rotary engine is crap. They were not designed for 500+ bhp!
