Mocha is filling her crop up so she can wrap it around herself like a scarf come Winter. 😁 Nahhh, she thinks she’s a hamster 🐹 !! 🤣 I don’t understand why the ducks hate a dirty pool that they mess up but when you dump it in the hole, they go mud swimming. Makes no sense but that’s the three amigos. 🙄😄
Where are you? I was given a banana tree (central Indiana) for my unheated greenhouse but the first freeze and it looks dead. Should I see if it’s okay in the Spring since the raised bed isn’t frozen? How long does the corn ferment take? And, how loong does it last? Just fill with clean water over the corn level?
I’d cover the banana tree roots for the winter. Wait until spring and it should start up again. Fermenting the corn takes 3 days. Last until you run out but I wouldn’t keep it over a month. Just cover the corn to prevent air from getting to it
@@ColeFamilyFarms Thank you! You are SO kind!! I was going to pull up the banana stalk because it looks so sad. Did I see that you add ACV with the mother to the corn and water once you’re done cooking and cooling?
I did not know fermented corn was fattening, and better for winter. I did read something about chickens getting fatty livers and hemorrhaging livers. I have the apple cider vinegar with mother. Is that actually needed, or does it just speed up the process? How much vinegar do you add? If you don't use it, just ferment a bit longer? I have 8 growers/layers, almost 4 months old.
The corn does fatten them up a bit but mostly provides more carbs to help in them producing more heat for body temperatures during the colder weather . I do add about 1/4 cup ACV per 5 gallon bucket . And like I said I also add in the juice left from the previous batch to the new batch. The probiotics are essential in the corn and are excellent for their overall health. If you have 8 one good 5 gallon bucket should last you 2 - 2 1/2 months.
Little by little 3 steps to hundred subscribers, I am sure you are going to reach a 1,000 and beyond good luck👍😊, so when we are going to have the bananas harvest😁😁, in my Country the bananas trees (drop dead by itself if you don't cut the fruit but it comes a new little bananas trees), so you don't have to plants or expanded if you don't want to👍
Thanks Alfonso. As far as the banana tree any hard freeze will kill it. So it's a game of chance as to when to cover and insulate it should produce another tree at it's roots as long as the trunk doesn't freeze and kill it so that's what I'm trying to save for next year. Fingers crossed 🤞. Hopefully.
Marianne the only problem with making them a pond is the cleaning issue. Ducks in the wild staying in one pond can ruin it. The smell alone would be terrible. But thanks for the comment. 👍❤️
Could you tell me how many days to take a broiler chicken to prepare for full size with farmented feed and what is the final body weight?can we provide farmented feed to broiler chicken at night?
Thanks for sharing!

@lrg613 yes I did it just fast tracks the fermentation
@@ColeFamilyFarms Got it. Not much though.
Very little. Maybe tablespoon
11:40 I had to look closer. I thought you had given your chickens a gigantic cup of coffee. Lol!
🤣🤣🤣 👍
You know what Ernie that does look like a cup of coffee from that angle 🤣😂🤣
chickens love those banana leaves too...
Yup we learned that with our older chickens. The hard way. 🐓😂

@@ColeFamilyFarms yeah that's a good Idea 👍
Sorry mr how many days does it takes to ferment? Please help
Generally 3 days
@@ColeFamilyFarms Thanks alot🙏
How long do you ferment the corn?
3 days 👍
@@ColeFamilyFarms how long could it last sir?
@@kentoi7956 we usually have enough to last about a month to a month and a half
@@ColeFamilyFarms if you open it , do you need to consume it for a day?
No just allow it to ventilate the entire time and give out a little each day to your chickens
Di you give them leftovers to?🐓🐓you should make the ducks a large pond😅

All depends on type of chicken and time of year. But in general 12-16 weeks.
Cornish cross chickens are bigger faster. FYI generally the 12 week range.
Weight can widely vary so you'll just have to judge what works in your location and circumstances.
@@ColeFamilyFarms thank you soo much

Horrible sound quality but hey thanks. I will you tube search the idea. Thanks again.
Sorry about the early ones couldn't figure out how to adjust and filter the sound. But good luck. 👍
Do you feed only corn
No
Are you fermenting your corn with mother of vinegar?
Yes 👍
I can barely hear you !!!!!
Sorry bad Mic . I don't really use fancy smancy stuff. I do try to help it along when I edit it but I'll try harder.
