The ref shouldn't have stopped it, but he also shouldn't have stopped Usyk. One or two more and Usyk would have been able to stop it.
why is everyone going on about this, fury was held up by the ropes, nothing was robbed, its a knockdown/ 8 count (i supported usyk btw)
@@sharazjek338 Multiple unanswered punches to the head with your arms down is a TKO stoppage. It should have stopped as Usyk by that point had basically won.
Any other fighter it would be stopped, remember AJ vs Klitschko? He was still defending himself.

I honestly think Tyson showboating has fooled everyone into thinking it was a close fight.. it really wasn't. He was showboating when having not even thrown a punch, just stuck in the corner. People have been massively fooled. I gave usyk 8 rounds... And I'm British.

The ref was naughty, he even grabbed Usyks arm to stop the KO blow and then gave Fury over 15 secs recovery time. I try not to jump to conspiracy theories but I smell a rat here! At least the right man won

Either Mark Nelsen should have stopped the fight a bit earlier during the round 9 slaughter, or he should had let Usyk do that last punch in the corner. Either way, it would have been a tko/ko. This just proves the corruption thst is ruining boxing. Another problem is that boxers inflste their records by not fighting the best. Tyson only fought Usyk because Usyk was adamant that he took a disgraceful 30/70 split. Tyson is a great boxer, but he is not amongst the greatest boxers lf all time - Usyk is though.
Could have been stopped, but it' was the fight for undisputed, good reff. 👍

It is normal for the ref to give a standing count if the fighter is going down and is held up just by the ropes. The problem is, the ref gave Fury some vital extra time after the count, taking it up to the bell. That would have been enough time for Usyk to land a couple more punches to finish it.

@@JackTenrec-qk4zp Then I guess he was treating it as a knockdown . But the way he dithered before & after the count has sparked a lot of controversy. Usyk is justified in feeling aggrieved. Not that he cares too much, the win is what matters..

If Usyk was robbed of a ko, why didn’t he finish the job in the 10th round. The same energy was not kept against Dubois. They said, why didn’t Dubois’s finish Usyk after the body shot. Ya all just Usyk and that’s valid because we are free to like anyone. If Usyk didn’t catch Fury in round 8, then the outcome would have been different. Fury was uncomfortable in round 9 after that punch to the nose in round 8

Right I see, so a guy that is out on his feet, stumbling from rope to rope, unresponsive for 26 sec's, yeah let's just give him more brain damage. Usyk was denied the rightful tko and robbed on the ko. Mark Nelson was on the payroll and so was the Canadian judge. He stalled the 8 count, got in Usyk's way, then when he saw the final blow about to come, he jumped in and gave a 20 sec 8 count. ffs Corruption makes me sick. This fight was not close, Fury did not win more than 4 rounds being generous.
How was it a close fight, fury got dominated
Fury won 4 or 5 rounds, and controlled 3 rounds in a row. He also won the last round, which was pretty good effort too. Fury did much better than I expected.
If the ref had not stepped in, as Fury was not on the floor, Usyk could have finished the fight with 2 or 3 more shots in the last 10 seconds of round 9. However, he didn't and credit to Fury's powers of recovery to stay in the fight after that.
The corrupt judges makes it a close fight. As shown by the scorecard, one idiot had Fury as the winner despite the knockdown. So when we say it's a close fight we take the mandatory corruption into consideration. It's always part of boxing. Without the corruption aspect, then of course Usyk is the clear winner.

@@matthewvicendese1896Fury landed very little clean shots he wasn’t actually in control of anything his best and only clear round he won was actually rnd 6 , from the opening bell,Usyk was doing everything he wanted , Fury fought nervously on the back foot and barley landed much there’s no way he could have won more then 4 rnds then add the 10/8 rnd this fight was t close .
I thought usyk won by 3 rounds.
