Spore was never so asian in manners n attitude. Lee made the island more 'asian' from the 1970s onwards. I remember it being more relaxed n less asian then.
Most of the people in Singapore are from China and India.. they don't care if a canteen is dirty or not.What is important for the political authorities is to make foreigners believe that Singapore is a very clean town...If you want to find out if a city is clean or not.. go to eat in the small ristorant in the ouskirts area.. In Singapore the small canteen and ristorant far away from down town are really dirty...
