Update: they no longer take reservations and it’s Fcfs only. Also you do not have to book as a package deal to get early entry. Early entry is automatically included when you stay here even when booking with a third party
We checked into Drury this weekend. If you link your stay on the my Disney experience app you receive early entry. We’re also AP and did early entry to MK earlier this week and plan on early entry into Epcot later this week.
😮 That's good to know! I will say, I didn't inquire about it (just knew it didn't link anything automatically). I wasn't worried about it, because we were there more for a "staycation".
@@itsajollyhollyday6774 Yes, after I linked the Drury reservation to MDE I could see the reservation as part of my upcoming plans, book dining reservations, and even book annual pass reservations under the hotel option.
@@itsajollyhollyday6774 when I had a previous trip booked through Disney last year, I could only make up to 60 out online, but I called a cast member and gave them my reservation number and she was able to book everything else I wanted for the rest of the stay!
It's really not all that bad...but it's definitely not as continuous as Disney busses...so you could be there a minute😬😅 A rental (if in the budget) would definitely be easier.
@@2htoohorse I think you're just adding more steps at that point. I'd just catch the bus at the park you're leaving. If you don't have a kid with you, I'd honestly just uber. Hubby and I caught an Uber back from epcot (during fireworks) for about $10. But, if you have kids that need carseats, just catch the Drury bus
Good morning! Could you please tell me how long it took you to get from MK back to the resort? What time did you leave MK and what time did you finally arrive at the Drury? Thank you for the information!
About 45 minutes. Give or take for traffic and how long it takes to load/unload people, always give yourself AT LEAST an hour for transportation (even on Disney property busses).
@@mommasnark6534 ok, thank you for the info! We always stay on Disney property but have been considering the Drury for our next trip. The only thing that’s holding us back is the Drury transportation. Your videos have been helpful.
@@itsajollyhollyday6774 thank you so much! It was something that worried me too, and I couldn't find any helpful info on it...so I figured going without kids first would be best LOL. Another option too would be to take a Disney Bus to Saratoga Springs resort and walk back if you don't mind walking ;)
@@mommasnark6534 yes, my husband and I were thinking about trying it this fall without our son. We are Drury Rewards members and try to stay at one wherever we travel to, so that’s why I was poking around UA-cam for opinions. Your videos were the first I could find in detail about their transportation. I also thought of the walking option, but it’s always so hot.
You cannot. You can take the shuttle to Hollywood Studios, then take the skyliner to Epcot. Walk to the boardwalk from there. That would be the easiest route, aside from Uber
Thank you. We will arrive in 4 weeks at the Drury. We will only get a bus from Disney Springs to typhoon lagoon daily and maybe another trip or two to the Boardwalk. This must be getting close to 30 flights to Florida now. Back in November to our usual places on the Gulf Coast. We also visit Texas as well. We have some UA-cam videos if you would like to look. We are from Norfolk in England.

Thank you, I was looking for a video like this! 👍
This is super helpful. We’re going to Drury in October

Hi Josh! Were you able to make dining reservations for your entire stay at 60 days too?

Returns seem easier to get on any Disney resort bus or walk to Disney hotel then go to springs and walk home,
I would say, for fireworks/park close time, that might be a better bet😬 Or just bit the bullet and Uber🤦♀
Thank you for posting this video, I decided to rent a car instead of dealing with hectic bus schedule! lol

Also coming back from Epcot would it make more sense to take skyliner to HS and take the bus from there?

What a good tip about booking with a Disney website
That’s incorrect info. Everyone gets early entry even when booking via third party. It specifies this on the Disney website
Do you think it would be easier to use the SS or POFQ bus and Uber back from there?
So helpful!

How long does it take to get to Magic kingdom from the hotel? Thanks for posting 🙏
Plan for at least an hour (at minimum) you'll still have to take the ferry or monorail at the TTC to the MK gates.
