The problem with players like Bo or Hilly is that the cannot thrive in an environment where teams change completely pretty much every split or at least every season. Hilly has always looked his best after he had time with the players around him because the had the chance to get used to him. Same with Bo. He is so good at hiding his intentions that even his own team doesn't know when he wants to fight. If they are on good teams with the right coaching staff and they have time those teams will always look good because no team will be able to predict what they are going to do.
I always get clowned for this take anytime I mention it but I genuinely think G2 could make Bo work and through him compete at a much higher level in International Play. Bo is a Dangerous Weapon who needs to be understood and I really think the last 2 years have been so unlucky in so many different ways. I have heard too many players/coaches talk about him like he is a God in Scrims and I have seen too many Inhouses/Champs Queue games where he is literally looking like the best Jungler in the world. Till this day I still believe he is what could take Europe back anywhere near the top and I need to see him 1 good project to see whether it can happen or not.
@@zzzmohamed9268 honestly my thought exactly. Yike is very good, don't get me wrong but Bo has already shown that he can be as good or even better as the best LPL junglers. If any coaching sfaff/roster could integrate and use him effectively it's G2. Caps, Mikyx and Bo sound like a trio that could legit be top 4 in the world.
Agreed. We saw some of insane flash of brilliances Bo had at the beginning of ever VIT split but you can tell there had to have been internal issues behind the scenes because the way they would collapse was just unreal. I originally assumed that it was because Bo had mental issues but after seeing the KC comps makes me think otherwise.
@@kissblade8587 yeah I think on Vitality it was more Perkz burning out because he had to basically coach while being a player which is an insane ask for anyone. Bo tried so damn hard on KC, what could he do when his support would constantly do the exact opposite of what he called for and his mid wasn't even in the game. Him not getting another shot would be such a tragic end to his career.
What I will say that surprised me about G2 is that, even though they were already playing Trist + ap jg during MSI, they looked allergic to doing it now, when it's so clearly the best thing you can be playing
Please just do this show with Memento every time and then bring Dom in as a guest when he is up for it. I really enjoy his analysis and way of expressing his thoughts. The comparison Thorin made with Maniac is honestly really apt, and your show with him is my favorite CS2 content.
I looked at midlaners from the ERLs out of personal interest after MSI 2023, and I honnestly cannot believe that more people didn't considder Jackies. I am not a talent scout, nor an analyst, but I went through looking for upcoming talent and I found this guy and already in 2023 did I say that he was the shit. He was legit and was going to be a good midlaner in the LEC. So if I can do that, why can't the people who are supposed to do that? I think that there are plenty of B-tier talent scouts in the LEC tbh. My process: I looked at games of legends for stats of players in EU-masters, and decided to select for certain stats that I thought were particularly important tot he midlane position coming from ERL-level of gameplay. Those for me were these: DMG%, DPM, GPM, KDA, WIN%, CS/min, CSD15, GoldD15, XPD15. These stats shows the statistical ability for a player to gain and carry a lead, and how good the team overall was while doing so. Then I checked the level of competition. And I found 3 main standout performers: Backlund, Six10 and Jackies. Then I checked their champ-pool. After that I checked their VODs for my final test, the eye-test. How good did their gameplay actually look. six10 is still very young, 18 if I'm not mistaken, but he doesn't look star level yet, plays like Chovy at home. Backlund looked solid, he can play in the LEC I think and be decent, but he was already 23, so his carreer length and potential improvement is more limited. Then we had Jackies. He did not only play the most mechanically demanding champions, and had some super top tier stats (particularly DMG%), his eyetest checked out like hell. Every single game his team ran him down harder than I've ever seen a proplayer be run down in my life, every single time. The only game his team won was when he got 16/5/10 or somethign on sylas. The time it took was like maybe a collective 6 hours at most, for me, one person who first-timed trying to look for good players. Cmon LEC, wtf?
I know you guys might get tired of winning eu but I think for a lot of fans it’s still a great goal and I hope you guys will win it all summer and season finals let’s go !
