    I Live in Worcester and two seasons ago i caught a 17.5lb and a 15lb in one week and i havent caught one since out of the Severn. But both were fish of a lifetime. Really enjoy your videos keep it up.

    Nice video buddy ,interesting ,like to try find old videos and copy tactics for my own fishing ,I find most people tend to follow new and latest edges that work well and majority follow the in thing ,while the old methods get forgoten an the fish tend to wise up to the new methods ,and old ones come into play again catching them out ,not allways but sometimes 😆

    The Nene Valley has some nice areas to fish as well as many lakes trailing besides it. Ive heard that Ringstead way is good fishing...

    No.Autumn.Never fished there in the winter.It floods too easily.You need to contact Mal Storey Tackle in Kidderminster,they will give you a better idea of conditions as I live 200 miles away from the river.

    I'm from Europe(Budapest)originally but live in Canada since i was 18.Well on the Danube I used to loved Barbel Fishing.The biggest I catched was bit over 3 kg.Well here in Canada they're called Red Horse Suckers and ppl consider'em"Garbage Fish"coz it's a shame they're great fighters and good to eat.My Wife looked at me like someone just out of a Mental Asylum when she frst saw me keeping'em for eating lol.Sometime you can catch'em with a deep net!

      @daz3434 5 років тому

      Hiya the best way is to join the BBA it £40 for the year and have got nearly all of the Severn and cracking stretches just got back to Cornwall after 2wks up there 3rd trip this year managed 100barbel in 10days and loads of chub. They do night permits on selected stretches for £10 the night but there is also Barbel Alley at the Unicorn Inn at Hampton Loade 6am-6pm £8 6pm-6am £8 or £14 24hrs. If I can help you out with info I will ; Tight Lines!!

    • @daz3434
      @daz3434 5 років тому

      @@captainchaos2671 Defo worth a try mate-The £40 BAA is the best money I have ever spent well worth it they have other stretches on rivers/canals and lakes too. I use blackcap feeders like in the video,10lb mainlineto8b bottom size 16or14 barbless banded hook. 2+3mm halibut pellets in feeder with 6 or 8mm on the hook. Or small 50grm ground bait feeder.

      @@daz3434 so what exactly is the BBA or BAA, is it a membership ive just looked online but whats the purpose/benefits of joining also it says BAA mebership expires on 31st december 2019 irrespective of when its purchased so does that mean id have to buy a new membership in december ? cheers

    • @daz3434
      @daz3434 5 років тому

      @@captainchaos2671 Yeah I forgot it runs from December-December but if you are looking to have a week or longer over the year it's way better as you have so much water to fish and by the time you pay day ticket prices it more expensive and limited to a very small amount of stretches. Seriously BAA have got beautiful water and great fishing that's why we all travel from Cornwall just for it ;)
