Gonta has to be one of my favorites in the series, at first, I hated the fact that he didn't survive, but I've got a theory that came just after the reveal that Kokichi was just pretending to be evil, I like to think that from the beginning kokichi had told Gonta his plan to act evil but try to end the killing game, and that's why they worked so closely together throughout the first few chapters, then eventually in trial 4 Gonta had to kill Miu, being that she was the only one with any drive to kill left, which would also paint Kokichi as irredeemable, and a more plausible mastermind so that he could better set up his trap with Kaito. Unfortunately, Shuichi screws it all up. I wish there was a way to just lie to Monokuma and say that the person in the suit is Kokichi so that the killing game would end.
