That's kinda of an ehhh situation. "Screaming Bloody Murder" was good, but it didn't have the "Hook" factor. That's what "pop-punk" is supposed to be about, right? I hate that term by the way...
+Slippy Jones (Tranzparent) I thought screaming bloody murder was pretty much them saying they were moving on from pop punk. I thought it was a great album and if it wasn't for nostalgia I'd say it is my favorite album from them
This song got me through some dark times in 2018. I was dealing with severe depression, anxiety and to the point where there was suicidal thoughts. Then one evening I literally hit rock bottom and then said to myself I need to get myself sorted. When ever I had a slip I would listen to this song repeatedly to remind myself what I was fighting for. This song means so much to me and got me through some dark times and reminded me that I was wanting to fight to sort myself out. Then just last night I watched Sum 41 for the first time ever and they played this song, thinking they wouldn’t ❤️. Thank you Sum 41
Bunch of little kids commenting and talking about how this song is trash. Those same kids probably think "watch me whip watch me nene" is a great song. Call me old fashioned, but I like songs that have a meaning behind it, not just a beat and shit lyrics that kill your iq. This song was good. I'm pumped to hear some more
It seems like nowadays a rock band can't throw a soft song without people saying they're sellouts... Come on people the song is really good and it's not like Sum 41 haven't done soft songs before.
True, but you'll have to admit that if the whole album has this sound it'll be slightly dissapointing. Imo they should go back to the Does this look infected? days
Hearing those new songs from old punk rock bands lets me hope they all come back. Wouldn't it be great if Deryck said when he woke up: 'Guys, let's bring punk rock back again and release an album in a year from now on. ' So bands like Good Charlotte, Green Day, Blink 182, Simple Plan etc. would "compete" in this event and a big Punk Rock Event will be held? I think it would be my greatest year ever. And reuniting My Chemical Romance.
Sum 41 and Green Day are both releasing their albums on the 7th of October. I kinda like what these guys have become right here. Love how it sounds and feels.
Aged like a fine wine. I love seeing bands that I grew up on embracing the fact they aren't the same age they once were and producing music that still kicks ass.
And also the fact that they trailblazed paths for other up and coming awesome modern bands that you have to look to find, that mainstream radio doesn’t play anymore
This song is amazing. The video fits perfectly with the song. Deryck burning things from his past because that isn't who he is now. This such an emotional video and song. I definitely loved it, it was so awesome.
Yeah the end too. And the other objects like his old guitar(he has a different model now) and the striped shirt that he wore a lot. It's just letting go of a time where he didn't want to be in.
I love both tracks so far. Fake my own death was a heavier song and in your face. Where as this song reminds me of pieces. A broken style anthem of sorts. Great job sum 41
This song is amazing and Deryck looks great. I hope that he has gotten his demons under control. I know it's hard I have 12 more days and I'll be one year sober. So keep it up man.
I don't know why the comment by Dylan was removed but I feel the same way Deryck does. Because I was so public with my drinking problem and now i'm so public with trying to stay sober there is pressure to stay clean.
I love Sum 41 a lot, I'm such a big fan of them I basically know every song off by heart. I'm so happy Deryck pulled through and now we can see him the other side of his alcoholism, sober. Idk, what I would've done if 'The Sums' weren't around anymore. Their comeback is great 13 Voices (album) and Order In Decline are amazing, at least they've not gone rubbish like some other bands. This track is emotional, about his battle, and you can see him burning his past away because he doesn't want to associate with certain parts of his past. Sum 41 forever🤘💖💖
Definitely! Because I think we all have things that we choose not to remember because we've done things in the past that we're not proud of, and Hell Yeah! 13 Voices and Order In Decline are his REDEMPTION Sum 41 records...
Awesome video! I've read the interview, this is about his alcohol addiction that nearly killed him. This are his first sober written songs, and they fucking rock!
Well I wouldn't really say that megadeth is making a comeback considering that they never stopped releasing great albums (with the acception of super collider) but there have been a lot of great albums that have come out this year
This song is so strong. Everything. The melody, the lyrics, and the music video. So deep and you can feel the message. So heart-touching. Reality slapping. Not a hard fan of sum 41 but because of this, I fucking love to see them here perform.
*Lyrics* So what am I fighting for? This is an absolute masterpiece and should have had so much more recognition. Especially when you know the context of why it was written. And it's very very moving. A favourite in my playlist
Dear Sum 41, Thank you from day one writing music that almost anybody can relate to, in that a lot of us struggle with issues such as depression and anxiety, and going through tough times. It’s really great therapy, almost like sitting in the psychiatrist’s chair and telling us, through heart and gut wrenching music, “Hey, It’s gonna be okay”, Sincerely, Your fans
I am a fan since 1998, got the "41" tattooed on my arm, inspired me to learn how to play guitar, bass sing and piano with the song "pieces", hopefully I'll see them in december in Buenos Aires this year! LOVE YOU GUYS! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
+brian morgan Dude! I love Metallica, I went to see them live in Buenos Aires, I actually am a metalhead, however, this Sum 41 music reminds me of my childhood, along with some other awesome experiences, so I stayed loyal to them. Finally, go open your mind and let people live however the fuck they want, and listen to the music they want! If you don't like this music, don't come in here! save your hate for yourself!
This is one of the sides that make Sum41 the amazing band they are, they can do do so many different things well, including these softer songs with more meaning behind them…they’re amazing at it!
I get that this song is about the singer getting over addictions, but for me this song has so much more meaning. I'm depressed and this song describes me whenever I fall back. I don't want to, and I'll keep fighting, but I don't know for what I'm fighting anymore. For the life I don't want to live? And also bullying. I thought it was over. But no, one girl from my baseball team has decided I don't deserve to be happy, and everytime I say a word, she immediately makes me feel so bad. This song keeps me going. Thank you.
You're Not Alone... I have depression too, and I have had suicidal thoughts (but I never acted on them)... But just keep going and trust me, things will get better over time...
DomozoveoGZ I think that would break the world of music like as much of niche band they were when they were playing if they got back together they would be bigger than ever
“i feel this song literally saved my life. i was at my absolute lowest point of what seemed like a never ending recovery. i was at a tipping point where i could have easily just given up and went back to my old ways of alcohol abuse which would’ve ended up killing me, which at the time felt like a better option. when all of a sudden, in mid thought, these lyrics sort of appeared in my head and i grabbed a pencil and paper instead of a bottle and started writing.” - Deryck Whibley
Good Charlotte and Sum 41 have become two of my three favorite bands and I started to like them as they made a comeback. They started as bands about the time I was born but I wish I could be the age I am now that time because that's when music was good. My third favorite band is the Beastie Boys and they aren't coming back as the Beastie Boys and probably not at all because of MCA's death but I am glad those two bands are making a comeback even though I never listened to them before.
YESS, how is it that this year so many punk bands are coming back out!?! like Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41 and more, rise of the punk bands im hoping!!
When he lifted the JD bottle it really sent a shock through me that I ain’t 6 anymore, these ain’t that same band that did songs about “skateboarding and getting dumped” and that he genuinely went through struggles just like the rest of us
-Astronaut -What I Believe -Handle This -Some Say -Slipping Away -Pieces -Theres no Solution -Dear Father -Whit Me -Look at me -Best of Me -Reason to Believe -Crash -No Apologies -War
I think 13 voices is a phenomenal album. It’s very personal with Derek alcoholism and his recovery. He really opened up on the album and to me it is my favorite sum 41 album.
I met "Pieces" a few weeks ago, and I really fell in love with this song, 'cause it describes perfectly what I m actually feeling ... and then, 06/02/19, UA-cam proposed me "War", and since that day, I listen to this song without any breaks. War hit me in the heart : beautiful lyrics, a really powerful rock song, I ll always enjoy to listen to this song : THANK YOU SUM41 TO HAVE CREATED THAT SONG
OMG.... ITS SO GOOD. I read comments, everyone says fake my own death better. I do not think so. Both of good, but i prefer this so far for me. This song reminds me pieces.
that are mostly people who are thinking that quiet songs are bad songs. they think that a rockband just should have aggresiv and fast songs. i love both but i prefer this because there is so much heart in it with great lyrics.
2024. i saw them live a few days ago for the first time in my life and they played this pearl, my favourite song. now it gives me the chills even more.
I just comeback again for looking sum 41 songs after 2009 (my favorite song that time is "still waiting", "pieces" and "there's no solution").... I feel nostalgic and very glad that they still release songs in 2016... And, they still have some consistent about song style that they bring today. Edit: Oh btw... I love this song.
Just by hearing the lyrics, it can apply to many of us, for many moments of our life, when sadness and demons are trying to control us, so keep it up guys! Not easy to let them out for good, requires energy, strength, tears but as he said, demons get ready cause this is war to you! Long live to rock punk
Dedicating this song to Deryck, since he's going through another health scare. Deryck, you've survived rock bottom before, you'll survive this one again! Stay strong! We're all with you!!!
War Sum 41 So what am I fighting for? Everything back and more And I'm not gonna let this go I'm ready to settle the score Get ready 'cause this is war There are days that I think I'm crazy Other days nothing seems to faze me There's nothing more and nothing less Just all the fears that I must confess well I'm afraid I believe in nothing No hopes or dreams you could've left me dead Naive and not to mention I'm losing count of all my blessings With all that I've done, it's too late I can't take back all that I have become So all that I'm trying to say I'm looking for a better way Some days it just gets so hard And I don't wanna slip away So what am I fighting for? From All Killer No Filler, Chuck, underclass Hero...waited so long for Screaming Bloody Murder, and now 13 Voices, woo, I can't even describe how much I love abt Sum 41's music
I can't believe my fav bands growing up ( blink 182, sum 41, good Charlotte and more) have put out new albums/songs. As I approach my mid 20s all this takes me back to the care free times of my teens. I will say tho I am a huge country music fan (and no not the country main stream shit on the radio) but I love going back and listening to my old songs of the punk rock genre. I HATE the music now a days with the rap crap bull shit and dabbing and shit, has no emotion and not real lyrics, it's just a beat. This has emotion and makes you think and makes you actually SIT DOWN and listen to what there saying. I wish all the bands that are trying to make a come back luck! Can some one say " throwback wraped tour "! God bless guys a rock on
they played this song at my show, i wasn’t planning it at all, and well, i cried. definitely one of the best songs they’ve ever written, and one of my favourites.
yes there fucking is you fuck twange real - not imitation or artificial; genuine music - vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. therefore real music is music that is genuine
+Kyle Simpkins (chump27) Personally I think California was really good. It was processed and the songs weren't the best but it wasn't horrible. The songs were catchy and still sounded good.
It was good but it didn't top Untitled. To me it looked like they didn't put much effort in, needed to pull out an album ASAP and fill the void with 'whoah oh' and 'nanana's'. I seriously like Neighborhoods more, but that's just my opinion.
what year us this ..sum 41 got a new song and blink 182 has a new album ..green day got new song that sounds like there old stuff but fuck it ..i love it good music is back
In my opinion this is one of the most underrated songs of Sum41 ever!!!
Definetly!!
This and noots
War
This song is underrated in my opinion i love it so much
Yeah.. Another reason was... The Voice of derick (vocalist) was so brilliant good and amazing so much
Absolutely!,so much it becomes criminal
Boi said underated with 11m views smh this music is dog shit compared to his old stuff
It has 11m views. Wdym underrated
Absolutely it is underrated this song this song is absolutely amazing song deserves so much more love and attention
Dear Sum 41,
Thank you for arising from the ashes of 2004 and bouncing back with an awesome song, and likely an awesome album!
Sincerely,
Your Fans
Yeah, they did good with this album, too.
That's kinda of an ehhh situation. "Screaming Bloody Murder" was good, but it didn't have the "Hook" factor. That's what "pop-punk" is supposed to be about, right? I hate that term by the way...
+Slippy Jones (Tranzparent) Same. Sum 41 genre should not be in the same category as Nicki Minaj.
+Slippy Jones (Tranzparent) I thought screaming bloody murder was pretty much them saying they were moving on from pop punk. I thought it was a great album and if it wasn't for nostalgia I'd say it is my favorite album from them
Yeah
This song got me through some dark times in 2018. I was dealing with severe depression, anxiety and to the point where there was suicidal thoughts. Then one evening I literally hit rock bottom and then said to myself I need to get myself sorted. When ever I had a slip I would listen to this song repeatedly to remind myself what I was fighting for.
This song means so much to me and got me through some dark times and reminded me that I was wanting to fight to sort myself out. Then just last night I watched Sum 41 for the first time ever and they played this song, thinking they wouldn’t ❤️. Thank you Sum 41
Hope you're feeling better dude. Keep fighting ❤
Hold on man
Hope everything is better now man. It also helped me go through rough times
❤❤❤❤❤
Hell yeah fight it and win cuz you're stronger
Bunch of little kids commenting and talking about how this song is trash. Those same kids probably think "watch me whip watch me nene" is a great song. Call me old fashioned, but I like songs that have a meaning behind it, not just a beat and shit lyrics that kill your iq. This song was good. I'm pumped to hear some more
I grew up listening to sum 41. This song is fucking shit.
+Hawcy Lawson I'm going to have to disagree
I think this was a great song as well. I mean it's not like sum 41 haven't done soft songs before
+Spooner Bros oh shit good job
+Spooner Bros yeah this song is awesome
It seems like nowadays a rock band can't throw a soft song without people saying they're sellouts... Come on people the song is really good and it's not like Sum 41 haven't done soft songs before.
Exactly
People just want to complain.
So true
What Sum 41 does best is balance heavy songs with soft songs. Pieces, Some Say and With Me are some of their greatest songs
Fuck off.
IKR!!!
punk Woodstock '17?
Aged like a fine wine. I love seeing bands that I grew up on embracing the fact they aren't the same age they once were and producing music that still kicks ass.
Yaaasss too bad you almost never find bands like that these days..
@@davidpeters2550 yea sucks sometimes but illl always be comin back to the same stuff that came out years ago
And also the fact that they trailblazed paths for other up and coming awesome modern bands that you have to look to find, that mainstream radio doesn’t play anymore
Deserves more views than Twenty one Pilots
I'm struggling between agreeing and disagreeing with you
+Døbby! The PhanElf No grudge against top. But sum 41 deserves as much attention as top
Kelvin Evans I'll agree that they do deserve as much recognition
God damn right you are but then again, if they haven't heard about sum41, they ain't true punk rockers!!
***** agreed
This song is amazing. The video fits perfectly with the song. Deryck burning things from his past because that isn't who he is now. This such an emotional video and song. I definitely loved it, it was so awesome.
Wtf with deryck at the end? haha
what did all the objects symbolize that he burned? I know the jack daniels bottle represented his alcoholic past.. but what about the other objects?
Yeah the end too. And the other objects like his old guitar(he has a different model now) and the striped shirt that he wore a lot. It's just letting go of a time where he didn't want to be in.
The skateboard and shoes are probably showing that he's growing up.
do you think the skateboard represented his ex-wife avril lavigne? (sk8er boi)
Sum 41 is underrated this deserves more recognition.
I love both tracks so far. Fake my own death was a heavier song and in your face. Where as this song reminds me of pieces. A broken style anthem of sorts. Great job sum 41
a7x 😍😍😍high 5 ✋✋✋
you did a shit job at contrasting these
Yea it does remind me of pieces.
Reminds you of pieces because it's one more video of himself walking around the streets xd
I wont be seeing you tonight pt. 1
So glad to know these guys are back!!!
yeah
Brewer
Suicidal Grooves the world missed a lot of pure gold punk without them!
This song is amazing and Deryck looks great. I hope that he has gotten his demons under control. I know it's hard I have 12 more days and I'll be one year sober. So keep it up man.
Congrats, man. Staying clean's not easy, but I bet you're a better man for it.
AgeInappropriate Thanks man I'm for sure a much better for it. Just wish I was smart enough to figure that out a decade ago.
+Jack Mills the important thing is that you did. now or q
10 years back. congratz and keep on!
Rizney Martin Soria Padilla Thanks bro
Theyre my favourite musicians too. I really am obsessed with them😅
Awesome video! I've read the interview, this is about his alcohol addiction that nearly killed him. This are his first sober written songs, and they fucking rock!
yea I heard it in the lyrics and saw the alcohol bottle and instantly knew
I listened to the interview on kerrang radio. You gotta look up to Deryck for fighting the addiction. :)
What a time to be alive. All these great bands are making a comback! Blink, GC, Greenday, Korn, Metallica, Megadeth, now SUM 41 \m/
Don't forget Jimmy
Well I wouldn't really say that megadeth is making a comeback considering that they never stopped releasing great albums (with the acception of super collider) but there have been a lot of great albums that have come out this year
I would've rather been alive back around 16 years ago when rock was mainstream and video games weren't shit
Don't forget IRON MAIDEN
+Ryan Beet same man same
So happy big Dave is back!
he looks so badass in this video :D
So happy even Deryck is back :)
wish the old drummer was here too.
you mean stevo ? :)
Denney Masters Stevo! 😭
This song is so strong. Everything. The melody, the lyrics, and the music video. So deep and you can feel the message. So heart-touching. Reality slapping. Not a hard fan of sum 41 but because of this, I fucking love to see them here perform.
*Lyrics*
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready cause this is war
There are days that I think I'm crazy
Other days nothing seems to faze me
There's nothing more and nothing less
Just all the fears that I must confess well
I'm afraid I believe in nothing
No hopes or dreams you could've left me dead
Naive and not to mention
I'm losing count of all my blessings
With all that I've done, it's too late
I can't take back all that I have become
So all that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready cause this is war
Another day in the right direction
I'm ok but I'm left to question
How did I get so far behind the rest?
Why am I so inclined to forget?
All the days that you made me crazy
Nowadays you don't even faze me
It's all the same and I don't stress none
Sick and tired of all this tension
With all that I've done, it's too late
I can't take back all that I have become
So all that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready cause this is war
Get ready cause this is war
Get ready cause this is war
All that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready cause this is war
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
Get ready cause this is war
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready cause this is war

They’re in the description, fuckhead
This is an absolute masterpiece and should have had so much more recognition. Especially when you know the context of why it was written. And it's very very moving. A favourite in my playlist
What's the context
Dear Sum 41,
Thank you from day one writing music that almost anybody can relate to, in that a lot of us struggle with issues such as depression and anxiety, and going through tough times. It’s really great therapy, almost like sitting in the psychiatrist’s chair and telling us, through heart and gut wrenching music, “Hey, It’s gonna be okay”,
Sincerely,

Yes
Thank you Sum 41 for all those songs with good memories..
I am a fan since 1998, got the "41" tattooed on my arm, inspired me to learn how to play guitar, bass sing and piano with the song "pieces", hopefully I'll see them in december in Buenos Aires this year! LOVE YOU GUYS! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
i am like you kk
Brian, can you shut the fuck up and let people enjoy what they want to enjoy?
+brian morgan Dude! I love Metallica, I went to see them live in Buenos Aires, I actually am a metalhead, however, this Sum 41 music reminds me of my childhood, along with some other awesome experiences, so I stayed loyal to them. SUM 41 is magical for me. This band is so fucking underrated. Every single song is art.
Definitely not underrated. They have been popular since the late 90s lol. They are just underrated today because everyone listens to trap crap.
I've been listening to this on repeat all day
x2
I've been listening to this on repeat for 3 weeks...
I listen to this almost everyday since it came out
I understand what you're feeling, sis. It's such an inspiring/motivating song. Love it, top class.
Same
Reminds me of "Some Say" + "Pieces" , perfect song!
+
The Lyrics me too!
The Lyrics and "walking disaster"
My 3 Sum 41s favorite songs ♥ it explains everything lmao
This song reminds me of Manafest - Not Alone:) Sound is pretty similar:)
I LOVE THIS SONG the lyrics are great which is rare nowadays
I also think so and they are even better when you know the backstory of the lyrics
i think its much better than pieces
+Gianluca Baccino you're crazy
Gianluca Baccino ok which server?
robinsci22 IP:6.6.6 Server name: HELL
This is one of the sides that make Sum41 the amazing band they are, they can do do so many different things well, including these softer songs with more meaning behind them…they’re amazing at it!
This is the year where every band is coming back
I was on Spotify and this song randomly played and I had to screenshot it and look it up, now I'm here 😊
Mochi123 You’ve taken your first step into a larger world. 👍😆

Welcome in something more power full than us *-*
Check their 90’s and early 2000’s albums out, you’ll be amazed
They're still alive?
something like that, i guess you can say they're in too deep ;;);));););((7;
You here.
BUSTIN
Please leave!
Fuck you, you meme loving melon
I get that this song is about the singer getting over addictions, but for me this song has so much more meaning. I'm depressed and this song describes me whenever I fall back. I don't want to, and I'll keep fighting, but I don't know for what I'm fighting anymore. For the life I don't want to live? And also bullying. I thought it was over. But no, one girl from my baseball team has decided I don't deserve to be happy, and everytime I say a word, she immediately makes me feel so bad. This song keeps me going.
Thank you.
Don't worry about the haters man... Keep on Keepin' on and the results will pay off sooner
You're Not Alone... I have depression too, and I have had suicidal thoughts (but I never acted on them)... But just keep going and trust me, things will get better over time...
Stay Strong, Be Yourself, and you’ll make it...
Green Day, Korn, blink-182, A Day to Remember, Sum 41, and Eminem are all releasing new albums.
Music is saved
now MCR has to be reunited and the entire world is saved.
DomozoveoGZ I think that would break the world of music like as much of niche band they were when they were playing if they got back together they would be bigger than ever
Waiting for Linkin'Park now...
linkin park too
+DomozoveoGZ If MCR got back together it would be the biggest band reunion in history.
green day, sum 41, blink 182. welcome back all!
old school rock is Music !!!
the offspring are awesome too !!!
+Garlic Gun they have a new single and I guess their new album is coming out soon! (you probably know it already but just wanted to remind you)
Blink 182 is simply a different band with 1 original member but.. still
What do you mean? Is it not still Mark, Tom, and Travis?
“i feel this song literally saved my life. i was at my absolute lowest point of what seemed like a never ending recovery. i was at a tipping point where i could have easily just given up and went back to my old ways of alcohol abuse which would’ve ended up killing me, which at the time felt like a better option. when all of a sudden, in mid thought, these lyrics sort of appeared in my head and i grabbed a pencil and paper instead of a bottle and started writing.” - Deryck Whibley
what a vocal!! I love this song so so much.. I found them from spotify couple weeks before and now I'm addict to Sum 41
PopPunk Rockers are back!
-Green Day
-Blink 182
-Sum 41
-Good Charlotte
2016 you are awesome
Good Charlotte and Sum 41 have become two of my three favorite bands and I started to like them as they made a comeback. They started as bands about the time I was born but I wish I could be the age I am now that time because that's when music was good. My third favorite band is the Beastie Boys and they aren't coming back as the Beastie Boys and probably not at all because of MCA's death but I am glad those two bands are making a comeback even though I never listened to them before.
Hell yeahh
Just pansy little emos you mentioned now. That ain't no fucking Rock music!
2016 is awesome? Just a little outdated
And Simple Plan😅😅
Sum 41 doing what they do best ...WARNING us of what's to come! Blinks back, green day are back... YESSSS!
It kinda resembles linkin park to me :)
Don't give a fuck bout green day, Sum 41 the best band ever and I've listen every good musics from 1927 to now
@@Vagabon1729dho-_, Green Day is better.
@@mir3s true
I am literally obsessed with these guys. Sim 41 are awesome!!!
Danni Laurens You said sim (queue butthead laugh.)

YESS, how is it that this year so many punk bands are coming back out!?! like Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41 and more, rise of the punk bands im hoping!!
yeah, you're right! our youth is coming back!
\(^.^)/ xD
Rise of Pop-Punk definitely. Punk as a whole, probably not.
mourning SMILE If only emotional hardcore (real emo) could come back from the dead. At least I have pop punk for now.
mourning SMILE YEEAAAHHHH :D
easy. there's a political shitstorm to get angry about
When he lifted the JD bottle it really sent a shock through me that I ain’t 6 anymore, these ain’t that same band that did songs about “skateboarding and getting dumped” and that he genuinely went through struggles just like the rest of us
-Astronaut
-What I Believe
-Handle This
-Some Say
-Slipping Away
-Pieces
-Theres no Solution
-Dear Father
-Whit Me
-Look at me
-Best of Me
-Reason to Believe
-Crash
-No Apologies
-War
and crash, if you were listing all the ballad style songs
+masterweapon334 crash is a pretty sensitive song
derick alfonzo it is, it's my favorite slow song from sum 41
Best of Me?
slipping away
This song help me through my college time. One day. I must hear 1 times. Thanks for made this song. Love from Malaysia.
Good luck with college, and congratulations! Sending love from Hungary
Thanks. I hope it will be good to. Hungary awesome.
Anyone who listens to this shit is a sex change candidate.
Emory Farrand lol good luck then!
The two new songs from Sum 41 are much better then Blinks new album. The only good song was Bored to death...
+Dustin Simonson agree (but still i like blink )
What a song...great lyrics, really hits the heart in a good way.
love the songs. who agrees that they sound like a combination of the albums 'Screaming Bloody Murder' and 'Underclass Hero'
I'm so happy for sum 41 they've gone so far
Deryck described the album as a combination of Screaming Bloody Murder and Chuck, but i thought Underclass hero as well.
+FooFighter201 ikr
Sounds like wimpy little bitch & Im a little tea pot
who thinks some lines sound familiar
I missed them so much 😭 I'm so happy they're back!
Listening to this .. feels like you are 15 , 16 , AGAIN.. so happy they are back now 😍😍😍😍
Sum 41 - legendary rock group 🎧
Today is a good day for music.
Sum41 is my favorite band ever
and this song is a good start ;)
u don't know good music, sorry!!
And I take it you do?
+ryandc ranchdel theres the 10 year old hater.
2024? Any listening??
Here.
Dam straight
Here from Indonesia
Me from France ❤️
Down in Tennessee bud, hell yeah
Im in love with 13 voices, it's already my second fave album from them, all killer no filler being number 1 forever.
My favourite is torn between this and underclass hero
Love this song - Deryck is a top bloke and has done a bloody good job getting through the last few years!
I cant stop listen that amazing song. Really, today Im happy - and this song is the reason of my goodness. Thank you guys for that.
This sounds like it could be in a movie...I ❤️ it
Welcome back punk rock!
this is far from punk rock
how the hell ramones can be considered punk rock and Blink, Sum 41 and Green day can't?
because this song just isn't punk, not even pop punk
Just Caitlin This is just Rock. Songs like Fat Lip and Underclass Hero are Pop Punk.
dylan pheifer he was just correcting you, this is just a rock song. you didn't need to get so diffensive.
I always wondered what would happen of Pieces and With Me were combined...I got my answer and it's fantastic
2024. i saw them live a few days ago for the first time in my life and they played this pearl, my favourite song. now it gives me the chills even more.
I love this band so much.
This new album will tear me to "Pieces", I am "In Too Deep" with this fandom. (I hate myself)
War
Sum 41
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready 'cause this is war
There are days that I think I'm crazy
Other days nothing seems to faze me
There's nothing more and nothing less
Just all the fears that I must confess well
I'm afraid I believe in nothing
No hopes or dreams you could've left me dead
Naive and not to mention
I'm losing count of all my blessings
With all that I've done, it's too late
I can't take back all that I have become
So all that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready 'cause this is war
Another day in the right direction
I'm okay but I'm left to question
How did I get so far behind the rest?
Why am I so inclined to forget?
All the days that you made me crazy
Nowadays you don't even faze me
It's all the same and I don't stress none
Sick and tired of all this tension
With all that I've done, it's too late
I can't take back all that I have become
So all that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready 'cause this is war
Get ready 'cause this is war
Get ready 'cause this is war
All that I'm trying to say
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
So what am I fighting for?
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready 'cause this is war
I'm looking for a better way
Some days it just gets so hard
And I don't wanna slip away
Get ready 'cause this is war
Everything back and more
And I'm not gonna let this go
I'm ready to settle the score
Get ready 'cause this is war
Heard this song on the radio and now it's one of my favourites
This songs pretty amazing
im 14 and i love sum 41 and deryck whibleys my idol
Deryck looks like a punk version of Neil Patrick Harris.
He really does
Holy shit yeh
it's Deriek
discount Constantine
No
Too underrated. Seriously.
Reflection, Acceptance, then Perseverance. This is an amazing and motivating song. I've been having this on repeat.
that moment you see that one of your favourite bands from 5 years ago releases a new song and its actually very very very good
To me this is the best comeback of the 2000's New Punk
Damn, this is totally addictive to me
From All Killer No Filler, Chuck, underclass Hero...waited so long for Screaming Bloody Murder, and now 13 Voices, woo, I can't even describe how much I love abt Sum 41's music
Brilliant
lol
Whoaaa wait wtf Dave is back in Sum41??
has been for almost a year.
God bless guys a rock on
Guys, thank you a lot for fantastic concert in Moscow! We are sum 41 family ;) We are waiting for your next visit!!!
And they reborn!
Sometimes I'll read the comments section on my favorite bands' videos and instantly regret that decision
True ...
true
Well, that's basically UA-cam's essence, y'know?
why
FUCK IT. They don't know what they are saying.
Welcome to the beginning of everything. I stand waiting
Something so simple to understand that many run from.
they played this song at my show, i wasn’t planning it at all, and well, i cried. definitely one of the best songs they’ve ever written, and one of my favourites.
Почему я нашёл эту группу только сейчас? Это прекрасно.
This is real music
There's no definition for real music
yes there fucking is you fuck twange
real - not imitation or artificial; genuine
music - vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.
therefore real music is music that is genuine
+Bro Storm how does one fake music. music is music. just because you don't like a genre, doesn't make it "not real music"
i did not say "not real music" i said there is a definition of "real music" and i defined it you fuck nonse
+AYesMan How does one fake their own death in the form of music?
California was awesome and 13 Voices looks really good so far, it's going to be a good year for me.
sure is
California is the most manufactured piece of trash i've ever heard... Like half the songs are "Adam's Song" sped up.... But to each his/her own
Kyle Simpkins I strongly disagree, yet I respect your opinion.
I have dedicated this song to my best friend! He had severe drinking problems. I always cry when i listen to it.
some parts is sounds like a mix of older songs of Sum 41, so as a retrospective i like it pretty much! love ya Sum41!
what year us this ..sum 41 got a new song and blink 182 has a new album ..green day got new song that sounds like there old stuff but fuck it ..i love it good music is back
is not us
eh, Green days song was so "meh", not interested in their new album at all if the other songs are to the same standard as that one.
ikr isnt it awesome!!
The new Green Day song is the best they've been in years, if the rest of the songs are to the same standard then we're in for hell of an album
Chris Halpin
Agree to disagree.
Still listening
Proud of be grow whit you deryck❤
Reminds me of "Pieces" from their Chuck album. I love it!
I love this song too much. I haven't stopped listening to it for almost 2 weeks straight...
Make that 3 weeks...
Aaaaaannnddd 4 weeks. I haven't stopped listening to this for a month
+AJManks I know. I'm not ashamed but I'm just surprised that I can tolerate it for a month straight listening to it every day.
So.... its been 5 weeks and I'm still here.
+Amber Richard Alright. If I'm here one more week, please send help 😂
I didn’t know Barney Stinson was in sum 41 😂
Damn I was like where have I seen this guy before.. Now I know, thanks mate..
P.S.: I know he's not Barney, but he so much looks like him man 😂😂😂
Barney recovering from addiction and leaving his old life behind
Jesse Lindberg youre Not kool or funny now bro
ITS NOT JUST ME WHO THINKS HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HIM. surprised i don’t see that many comments like this lol
KKKKKKKKKKK
I can't stop to hear it again and again. Thanks Sum 41 for all this nice moments that I connect with your music!
