FYI. When using. Panel bond. You need to stick it to the steel. Take the paint all the way off. You can add fiber glass resin with out the hardener to bondo to turn it into glazing putty. Hope these tips help.

The lack of good and original body kits is a big problem with this car
You can use panel bond. And fill the edges of the panels. To help blend them into the car.

Why didn’t you print the panel with some thickness so you could cut out the fibreglass, resin filling and hand finishing? I thought that would be the point of 3D printing. And if it wouldn’t be strong enough then 3D print a mold for the parts.

Give it a front splitter and a rear spoiler couse right now it looks like it got stomped on
It bugs me that the part behind the rear wheels didn't completely cover it. Critique aside i love how technology is allowing rapid but quality builds to happen.

planning to do something similar myself, as i do cad surfacing for a living, just need to save a bit more for a 3d scanner and then i can get started :D
Thanks for watching, i don't remember exactly but i think the panels were around 3-4mm thick.

They're not flimsy, but they're flexible over a large distance. Once mounted on the car they're as stiff if not stiffer than OEM bumpers. If you check out the individual videos i talk about how surprisingly stiff the panels are just from being glued on the car.
I have watched all of the vids, and I meant before reinforcing them with fibre, I have no doubt that they're more than stiff enough once glued into place and reinforced with fibre :D@@DingDongDrift
Even before they're reinforced I'm saying, simply just glued on, you could drive like that with no fiberglass and they'll hold up fine

based on the description it was probably petg
