The title pretty much says it all. This is the gold medal match between myself and Kevin Murakoshi in the Veteran Rapier & Dagger tournament. It should be noted the gold medal match for THREE different tournaments at King's Cup came down to Kevin and I. Clearly, a true testament to Kevin's skill.

I really enjoyed the exchange at 3:11. Nice clean back and forth.

He was using Bonetti's defense against me, despite there being no rocky terrain.

    Beautiful parry repost conversations.
Reading your book and applying it to finger jabs.

I bought Revelations following your interview with Matt Easton. Great book. Fantastic to see it all in action on this channel.

@@RobertChildsRapier Absolutely. I also appreciate your dedication to martial rigor. It's something disappointingly lacking in some other forms of sports fencing.

I was reading about your low guard in the book - and can see it here!

    Hey Rob
Your core development really shows here, your body moves as a complete unit.
Your opponent here is very talented, and has some advantages.
Notice how when your opponent stops starts and changes direction, there’s a slight wobble in (her?) torso, like a slinky.
This distorts proprioception as the brain needs to do more work to make micro adjustments in time/space distance.
    It’s blurry

Core is a big part of physical fitness for fencing (as I suppose it is for pretty much all athletics). :)
