True or false: Everything tastes better from a golden spoon
Eater TRUE
YES.
Yesh!
“Perception is everything, although could be wrong”
I do not agree. One could find a lot of pleasure in simple things as well. I think you have to be a bit of a snob to think so shallowly.
I love the host! Too often I see hosts interviewing chefs & they're completely clueless about what's goes on. She seems really engaged in the process & is like a student behind the line.
She's great but just a little too over the top, especially the part at 5:37 where she says "this is really important to me, i'm actually super passionate about sea weed". Like really? Who the hell says that.
@@KingRockets alot of chefs talk like that, especially the "fine" dining chefs. They can be really passionate about ingredients to the point it becomes obnoxious lol.
@@KingRockets it was cute actually
KingRockets
I don’t doubt for a second she is obsessed with seaweed. Chefs often have quarks like that, and she very much is one.
KingRockets “who the hell says that?” people with opinions.
she has an absolutely wonderful smile
CozyPHID some good DSL’s nawmsayin?
CozyPHID
Aw:)
For sure
I am glad I wasn't the only one to notice :) Absolutely adorable
The fact they just let Chef Arrington cut that Abalone. That's TRUST. I don't care how much experience I would have, that would make me so nervous! Chef Arrington was so lovely and professional. Amazing job to everyone. This was a joy to watch :)
The rapport between the host chefs was lovely...and they were so inviting to their guest. This was really a joy to watch!
Need more of this series, the host is very genuine and knowledgeable.
To be honest she's trying to showcase her knowledge a bit too much. I don't care as much for her assumptions, just let the experts do the talking. For example: the chef says it tastes like geoduck. And she's like: yeah, exactly. And then rambles on with keywords that seem generic.
Anyway, nice show, but I don't care too much for her opinion.
But then again. It's just my take on things (:
and pretty too it helps for sure
@@RS-zp1we It makes sense for her to try and describe the abalone since she is the host of a show.. for the viewers... not the chefs obviously.
@@goliaboi well I dont care about her view, but the chef's view. So let them do the describing
Nyesha competed in Top Chef. Daniel Boloud has been a judge in Top Chef. They have a connection. :)
A Michelin Star chef who has a sense of humor and is delightful to be around. You don't see many of those.
Really nice, everyone was great in this!
Great host and the chefs were really friendly and honest about their work, they just seemed to really be enjoying what they're doing, which is key to making it really taste good c:
Editing is really good as well
Great video all around!
How french is your cooking?
"Yes"
Oui
@daAnder71 Jesus who cares
It just surrendered.
Elle parle français?
It's so nice to see Chef Leroux getting featured. One of the most genuine, knowledgeable and friendly chefs I've ever had the honour of meeting
She is outstanding!!!!! I really hope they got a few episodes shot before this damn corona ruined the whole industry cuz I want more. I can see how knowledgeable she is and is respected for it.
Nice to see Nyesha branching out and doing things like this. Always loved her personality on Top Chef and her food is real good also. I like these chef driven series (Sheldon, Marcus) and now Nyesha. Keep it coming
She has now become my favorite food journalist of all time. So natural and personable!
Still prefer Eater videos without a host but at least this one was leagues better than the other annoying host who kept interrupting the chef when he was trying to explain things.
She’s good. Her descriptions are genuine and not forced. More of her please!
Yeah, but she needs to stfu and stop talking over her guests
Yeah, this is one of the best hosts of all the Eater videos I've watched. She actually seems engaged in what the chefs are presenting.
They're quite adorable geeking out over seaweed together
wonderful piece.. great host.
She is an accomplished, and well respected Chef....
Her smile is so contagious! Nyesha radiates positivity! We want more!
Oh, I didn't know the host's name. In Swahili her name means Rain
The chemistry in this episode is basically EPIC! 👍
I enjoyed every second of this video. Nyesha is an absolute joy to the world. I want to thank those 2 chefs for being so gracious and letting us in their house. Fabulous experience. And thank you Eater
Bring that host back. Good presence and not annoying.
Shes better than that blonde host from 3 years ago
@Adam Sobh you are an ass. Correcting spelling in a UA-cam comments section and whining about the host
@Lan Astaslem I'm asian... you kinda have bias against black folks. Sit Down.
@Lan Astaslem lmao
When she ate the raw abalone I knew she was a real food person
She needs her own show! She was so engaged and really sucks you into the experience with how appreciative she is to be there! She ate it!
I liked that she has professional training and addresses the chef as one would in a professional kitchen. Willing to try anything with respect for the art of cooking.
The host was SUPERB. She’s relatable/approachable but yet so versed to be amongst the chefs. Give her more shows!
I really like this host. She brings a lot of knowledge and she is so darned excited and interested in everything that is going on but not in an over the top or ridiculous way. Just like a true admiration for the work and the people she is meeting here. I'd like to see more of her content.
They seemed so kind. Very passionate. I loved this video from beginning to end. Thank you!
love this video, and i love her interaction with the chefs even more! they all seem so genuine, and she seems really interested and like she’s having a great time.
Need to see more of the host chef Nyesha! She did an amazing job
Oh man, been following the BTS of this series for the past few weeks on Instagram. So stoked to see where this series can go! Chef Nyesha is a complete natural on set!
Shes very friendly and knowledgable
Thank you for showcasing diversity in the kitchen in such a natural, comfortable way.
Wow ! This chef/host is a breathe of fresh air. Being a chef myself I love her passion!
In singapore we just dump the abalone in with the instant noodles.

I wanna be one
That blew my mind. I never stop being amazed by great Chef's working their craft!
So inspiring!
I love this host, not annoying and you can see her beaming with passion for cooking.
The dish looks delightful, and, while I don’t know this host, she’s really good. Give her a raise.
I enjoy Mr.Boulud's French chef that they work together. Never knew that. He should be talked about more. Without him, there is no restaurant. 💙💚💛💜 Namasté.
The way she opened her mouth when he asked her to try the potato touched my soul a little bit
I love daniel, such a rockstar in a kitchen
One the best videos I've watched on youtube..."my soul is happy now"
Its so nice to see a passionate and knowledgable host who lets the food and chefs shine!
I met the host when I used to work for Sherry Yard . She’s really nice in person to everyone .
Thanks for the new production Eater. I love mise en place and look forward to many more wonderful contents
I think the host of this presentation is what drew me to watch more. Aside from the two awesome chefs, she really pulled this together!
Wow what a complicated dish. Need more of these series there so good. Thank You
“You wanna taste my seaweed butter?”
She is absolutely beautiful and soft spoken and the food looks amazing too
This is the best michelin-starred chef episode imo. Daniel was way fun and its cool to see inception to plate
So much effort and creativity are put in a dish. Respect!!!
A great video piece. Lots of work goes into them dishes. However, the host is not only a talented chef, she understand her craft and environment and knowledgeable. As well she's also a very charming host to watch and mingling with the chefs and ask good questions. So many other hosts act as if they are the know it all with their guests and not really let them speak or explain. Good Chemistry! So much you learn just listening.
One of the best series on the channel. Perfect hosting, great practical info, good production. More!
Love this episode. Her passion is just addicting!
I so enjoyed this. It’s great to see a chef like Daniel Boloud as a person .
She is my absolute new favorite food show host of all time. Make 100 more videos with her
This chef is fantastic
Nyesha’s smile is heaven! So articulate, professional, educated and naturally developed palate.
I work with Chef Steven Marsella at the gloriette in Covington,La. He is an amazing chef. Passionate ab teaching others the culinary arts. I watch these episodes everyday. They are so inspirational. Thank you chef
I like the host for this video. These are the ppl who can be dropped in any environment and get along with anyone.
Chef Boulud has the correct attitude....

I love the host! So nice to see a fellow chef that understands cooking.
i loved this episode. chefs were so sweet to her
Wonderful job. Have dined at Daniel many times and loved every bite!
Love this type of cooking, taking ingredients no one really see's that often, and puting it in a master chefs hand to make something delicous.
The Copper pans and the old school stove is just heavinly
Love watching chef Arrington work with others. She’s adorbs too. Ha
Really awesome to hear the dish explained and drawn!
that was the most extravagant food preperaion I've ever witnessed!
I love your Drawing Note book. Beautiful

This one made me so happy. So good
Food is such an art form. This is so inspiring
I only ever want to watch her videos god what a breath of fresh air
Abalone pounded, sliced, and flash fried in butter is awesome, too!
Please give us a full time version of her. LOVE her
I love the energy in that kitchen 🙏🏻
Chef Boulud is always fantastic with these videos but shoutout to the host of doing a great job
What a dish, great preparation. Making me hungry and I’m already eating.
great host!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love that the host lets them do most of the talking and doesn't fill with inane banter and jokes.
thank god for a host on a food show who actually seems to love food have a little knowledge about food and asking good questions.
This makes me so joyful that such things are being created in this world, yet so regretful that i'll never be able to afford this even while living in New York. Thanks Eater for make me aware that such joys do exist.
What a charming lady host. I watch a LOT of cooking shows but she is having the best time in her life and it's very communicative. And she obviously has a culinary background so it's not just good cheerleading.
Her voice is so pleasing to the ear
Love to see how happy she is to be there- great content.
She isn’t butting in boi she’s learning, she belongs in this business
Alright, I can stop searching now, THIS is the best video 🙌
Beautiful plate/presentation!
Wonderful people, it was really nice to watch !
Great host.
I loved the chemistry it was fun, and more details of the dis aysha is beautiful and the chefs were very fun, and the dish was not arrogant, it wa simple, and striking looking, super Japanese yet european as well.

Honestly. What an experience 😭
Loved this!
This is one of the best Episodes of Cooking I've ever watched in my Life1 The host is amazingg!, Chefs very friendly, honest and gentle. The editing also smooth! I smiled all the way through this episode.
you can tell that chef enjoyed teaching her, most chefs will just scram out the show hosts as they get annoying asking obnoxious question's, not only was she gorgeous but very sharp(pun intended).
Outstanding
Outstanding presentation! Lots of love in that bite
