Hi Sheila! I love your headband. I knit one last year with a cable down the middle. It might have been a free pattern on Ravelry. I wear a house hat pretty regularly. It’s just a simple beanie made from some soft acrylic, but it keeps my head lovely warm. I look forward to seeing your new project for you! It will be a lovely surprise. That coral one is nearly complete!

Hi Sheila luv nice to see you getting on well with the baby blanket it going to be lovely and cosy , looks like marshmallows same colours as well 🤣 you and that post master at least you have a laugh with him some shop people so miserable lucky if they even speak . Even if you feel fed up if you have a chat and a laugh it brightens ur day . I like to knit cardigans but can never pick up the stiches for the front bands as they should be always disappointed with it when you do yours they so nice I think you have a video somewhere showing how to pick the stitches up neatly . Even the stitches around a neck never seam right it really annoys me as never seems right when I do it so will have to master that , I like the hair bands you used to make with the buttons on , not necessarily with buttons on just like them the same width all around last time u made those I was going to make a couple for winter and forgot might look some wool out and get one made tomorrow ,the weather been fine and quite mild today , for valentine day hope we get another dry day tomorrow as I’m sick of all the rain , hope you get another win this week at the bingo 🤞🏻 💕💕😘
The turban headband looks lovely. The younger women in my knitting group have been making them, as you say. That looks a nice width of band, too. Good to keep the ears warm in winter!

I love the headband, I need to try one of those! If it’s cold out, my mother always says “cover your ears!“ It cracks me up, she never says put on a hat, it’s always cover your ears…

at one time Lydia my hair kept my head warm, but my hair is getting so thin now i need a full hat to keep my head warm 😂
