One of the perfect pairings. A 2007 Bigfoot 1500 Series Truck Camper mated to a 2004 F350 SRW Crew Cab. This camper was hyper outfitted, with tons of mods!

I live on the Olympic Peninsula, are you kidding? I don't believe.......I know. Looking for a lottery winning rig to prove it.

I like Bigfoot campers, but wouldn't buy one. It's not that their quality is bad, it's actually very good. It's that their beds are too short. Their beds are 74" long, on both the 1500 series and 2500 series and you can't put a longer one in because of the way it's designed. Most of the better campers, Lance, Northern Lite, NuCamp, etc all have beds that are 80" long, a true queen size. It doesn't seem like a big deal unless you're tall like me (6'3") If I'm paying the kind of price that these things go for I want to be comfortable and don't want to have my feet hanging over the edge when I sleep. C'mon Bigfoot, make a standard size queen like (most) everyone else. Oh, and make a blind for the back window, too while you're at it. None of them have one.

Good points! Was not aware of the bed size differences on these. Thank you for your insight

@@OttoEx Your welcome. Yes, I was unaware too, but then watched 'Runaway Roses' video where they mentioned the bed size on their Bigfoot 10.4. So, I went to Bigfoot's webpage and checked out the specs and it showed 74" for the bed length for both the 1500 series and 2500 series. The way they designed the bed space the rear corners of the bed go up against a wall and I don't see a way to put in a longer mattress. Hoping maybe someday they will change this, as they really are great campers.

I mean no disrespect but your title mentions solar and boondocking. Your video shows 1 solar panel. The most powerful single solar panel I've seen is 300 watts, far less than necessary for an extended boondocking stay. I would recommend Battleborn kit with 3-4 lithium batteries and at least 600 watts of solar, better 1200 watts and 400 amp hours of battery.
