#1 way ive made friends in sot was getting in a fight, sinking or getting sunk, then the peeps coming back around saying gg's and partying after. Being a good sport makes a WORLD of difference, cheers!
Seems to be that way, I was laughing it off at first cause he was throwing generic insults at me, but after 3 hours+ of it and then multiple stream snipes/personal attacks, I had enough.

At the first 2 or 3 times they came was like "ok" and didn't rl cared . But after fourth i rl started loosing patience ( and i am not someone who will lose patience so easily) . Thats the problem with sot . Ships should be server hopped after got sunked 3 times . Because they will come back full with rage and slurts to tell . Also btw this guy got banned right ?
This is why I hate PvP in this game... people can't admit when they're beat and want to immediately go so toxic. I'm glad some players like Happy are good-hearted in it and don't try to be problematic.

I'll never forget one of my first PVP experiences in SoT where I did the funny underwater bullet dodge dance on this guy and when I killed him he hot mic'ed and said "Nice DPI glitch dumbass"

I think the sea of thieves community is pretty toxic seeing how beautiful the scenery of this game is and the patience required in it, but non the less I still solo sloop and do missions to enjoy everything else amazing about this game :)
its so funny when controller players say you would hack just because you can move much faster and have way better control them then xD (if i fight against controller players i often just troll them by running around them because their sensifity is so slow they cant come after me xD)

I had a friend who played this game simply to be a pirate on the seas plundering treasure and going on adventures rather then waste time being toxic over sinking in a video game. He didn’t care if he sunk as he was having more fun trying then succeeding.
