I love the Marnie, corduroy trousers, and vest from the same 2 fabrics. They are so cute. I would definitely wear all three together. And the colours are stunning together.
Your sewing is impeccable! I love all your makes. I don’t know how you make them all so quickly and at such a high quality. I always look forward to watching your videos. ❤
@ameliaellensews I'm scared of that detail but definitely giving it a go at some point! Luckily Tillys instructions are always really clear so fingers crossed should be OK 😅 otherwise will bring it to the studio lol
You will be fine with the detail. The instructions are great and it is much easier than it looks! I did a practice of the technique on a scrap first which was really helpful too 😊 but of course you could pop down to the studio too 🥰
All your makes are absolutely beautifully sewn and look amazing- you have such a talent for design and colour coordination! I’m interested in making the Olya shirt in striped linen and wondered if you had any comments on it, please? Roll on spring sunshine so you can try everything out ❤ xx
Thank you so much, that is really kind of you to say. The Olya shirt would look great in striped linen. The was the pattern is suggested to cut the stripes go horizontal across the top panel and then vertical down the front panels. You will see on the pattern cover. I have just been working on a striped chambray Olya. I think it would look stunning in linen 😊 and yes roll on the warmer weather!
Thank you so much, I am so pleased to get an extra top out of the fabric! I know I will wear this one a lot in the winter, the fabric is so warm and cosy 😊
Wow you are in sanely talented. I love love love the embroidery, such a cool detail. I also love the little tags you sew on and in where do you get those?
Thank you so much, that is very kind of you to say. The tags are mainly from 'Little Rosy Cheeks' and 'Kylie and the Machine' if you google those two companies you should be able to find them. They are super fun to add to garments 😊
Love ur 1st top … the colourful material!! Love the 2nd pants (colourful) pattern…. Omg the purplish top is beautiful! I don’t know centermetres, but inches. Does it come in 50” bust?! Live ur wardrobe!!!😊
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I am not too sure about what top you need. But there are converters online to change measurement from cm to inches. Hopefully that will help 😊
Really nice makes, I love thr purple trousers! Question about the waistcoat: did you first cut your pieces and then did the quilting, or first quilted a larger piece of fabric and than cut it? I'm wondering if the pieces will shrink if you cut it before.
Thank you very much! I do make the pieces slightly bigger (maybe 5 - 10cm all the way around each piece) for the waistcoat before quilting them then I cut them to the correct size. They don't get too much smaller but I wouldn't want to risk it!
Amelia! Lovely creations you made. Thank you for sharing and showing what you made!😊

Lovely makes. I can never relate to centimetres in sewing. I have no idea on that so sizes mean nothing
Thank you very much 😊
Beautiful as usual ❤
