Another great review. Props to Louisville for trying to have a less expensive bat. That said, it doesn't seem to match up to other bats at the $250 price point. I geabbed a Clout for my son as an extra bat and he absolutely loves it and bounces back and forth with his VooDoo. Even his teammates were surprised at the pop in that bat!

Omaha came out for the 97 CWS. It's the dark green one with the star in the A of OmAha. Haven't seen one in person but i hear it's a contender for the best bat of the late 90s.
Atlas needs to go up against the select 716 to see which is truly the best LS bbcor of all time. My money is still on the Select 716

hey man I need your help, im a freshman in high school I got a catX but it was a little to heavy for me, I weigh about 130 is there any bats you would recommend for me based off that info? I like any bats i’m just unsure in composite bats because I heard they break
if you put the baseballs in the machine with the seams aligned the same way every time would the pitching machine be more consistent?
How durable is the 2022/2024 Omaha ? I’m 6’2 205 and I like a heavier stiffer bat ( I’m also looking for a replacement from the 2022 Goods 2 piece ), so I can tell what I’m doing and get more barrel accuracy. With the atlas having durability problems, and the CatX having a sound I can’t get behind . I’m leaning towards the Omaha. I’m looking strictly at one pieces though, so it’s difficult. (‘34 inch)

Although it would be good to partner up with a power-hitting college bruiser when you review endloaded bats. Get a different perspective.
Endloaded bats are a different breed. I still think you under-rated the endloaded Easton Encore, which my son absolutely mashes with. (New version is called the "Split," but it's the same bat with a new paint job.)

The best Omaha is the solo 617 bbcor from 2017 the white one. You should review that one. Loved that bag my freshman year of college.
I’m 14 6 foot 150 and am wondering if I should size up to a 33 what do you think I should do
if you can get it around it should be fine. Probably swing a one piece like the voodoo one or the atlas. id you're a freshman I'd rec swinging a 32 for a year until you get used to it. especially at 150.
I used the 2023 Omaha at Stanford last year. It was soft when I first started using it. Not sure if the two bats are similar, but when I broke in the 2023 one, it had juice!!

My son just switched from the Meta to the Atlas. He says the Atlas never missed. Also, he said the Altas is the first bat he's swing off the tee that actually has feel and depth to it.
Omaha Gold when I was in 9-10’s. Then in HS the drop 3 was an orange one always solid bat.

The omaha isn’t a soft bat it’s actually one of the hottest bats I’ve ever swung. I’ve used every model from 2019-2024 while playing college ball and it’s gonna sound crazy but u gotta break it in. Yes I understand it’s a one piece and it “should” come out the wrapper hot but it doesn’t. If u can handle the end load and get some swings on it it’s probably the hottest one piece u can get ur hands on. Also you know it’s broken in when the sound starts to change. It becomes a deeper sound at contact and not as high pitched like most one pieces. I’d love to see the bat bros do this video with a Omaha that has 200-250 swings on it and than compare it to the atlas or any other one piece!!!!

For those wondering why bats like the Omaha are popular in college there's a couple of reasons. The biggest one being that they are very stiff bats, which allows for them to swing a lot harder without the bat 'flexing' a lot giving them more consistent contact and feedback. These 1 piece bats also function a lot differently in their 34" versions, while the Bat Bros have done a video showcasing this effect with woodbats for metal bats you can get drastically different results with a 34 vs a 33.
On top of that colleges often have bat deals where the players can only swing certain models/brands
Yep it’s basically the heaviest bat available for the Louisville slugger schools. Those high-end D1 guys are monsters.
exactly this. dudes at stanford and tennessee are stronger than most people realize and a light swinging bat doesn’t do much for them especially if they’re making the jump to pro ball.

My son's swung both the goods and omaha. Omaha swings quite a bit heavier, which he prefers. Way heavier swinging than the Select PWR. He gets higher exit velos with the Omaha. 6'4 270 though, and hates the lighter bats 🤷🏼♂️

Yeah especially since the reviews are primarily for HS kids. You get Stanton out there to review bats and every single one would be "too light" lol
I think the swing weight is getting the best of you. Might be capable of 105-107 but clearly you swing a balanced bat better.

If bat is heavy, exit velo should never be an issue.
@@baseballbatbros You would think. But as an avid golfer, any tech savvy golfer will tell you….swing weight is everything. Some produce better ball speed with counter balanced shafts than regular shafts, heavier or lighter shafts. You mentioned in video, you were able to get the Atlas thru the zone easier…hence better bat speed thru the zone and ball speed.
@baseballbatbros it looked like you were struggling to get it around a bit more than other endloaded bats I've seen you swing. Looked a tiny bit slower is all.
How new are your Atlas bats? Hot first run? Production variances? I'll be honest I've not met anyone who says they are as good as you are ranking them. Select Pwr, CatConnect, Goods are I see people going
Nah we get them from JustBats. Atlas is one of the best bats in the game for a younger high school guy. CatX Connect and Goods are overrated IMO. Select Pwr is a beast but I'd still take the Bonesaber Hybrid and Icon over it.

the omaha must be really heavy cause to me the goods is light so that must be just a strait log
