@@frenchfrey65 I appreciate the kind words! Travel all the way through 17. Then, Pan Am stuff (that I didn't get to participate in due to injury 🙄), and after that, I was done unfortunately. You haven't heard of me, but my name is Jason Monroe. I caught Todd countless games (still the best knuckle ball I ever caught), I hit either right before or right after Todd in the lineup depending on the order for each game, I played against him in high school, and even struck him out twice in one game (I knew a secret weapon 😂). Such fun, and I probably would only change the position around. Catching all those games (75-100+ per year) from 7 to 18-19 ruined my knees before I graduated Gibbs high school (cards and letters stopped after the 3rd knee surgery). Still, what an honor to get to ride, room, and play with such a legend.

I know you have done multiple videos on Baum bat vs wood bats. I would love to see how the Dove Tail Carbon Fiber matches up to the Baum. I can’t get over how horrific the Baum bat feels and would like to see if the other wood composites match up.
I have two, 33" balance and a 32" end load. If you play in a wood bat league that allows Baum, you should use one.

I know it’s not really your age level target but I’m super curious to get your take on some USA bats - I got my 8yo an older Easton Mako (aka creamsicle) and it’s amazing but older and it’s 2 1/4 barrel compared to 2 5/8 or 2 3/4 barrels on new 2-piece composite bats now being offered. My only issue is where to spend my money when looking at new USA composites

I got a blemished Baum bat from the website, meaning it’s basically a random series, color, handle, etc. When I unboxed it, I got an end loaded gold series! Saved me a couple hundred bucks!

What pitching machine do you guys use?
I have a balanced 34 Baum bat with the axe nob and that this spanks. It swings just as light as a 34 goods one piece, and it consistently gets 4-5 mph hotter hits that my 34 goods one piece and 33.5 victus nox. The only problem is the sweet spot, but on barrels, there’s no comparison to metals in my opinion, it’s just better.

I just bought a bone saber and the entire barrel seems to be covered in a plastic almost except for a little portion on the end and I was wondering if that was supposed to be there or if I am supposed to take it off somehow

It appears that Baum Bat has temporarily removed the "endload" option from their website - but apparently they're working on releasing an updated/retooled version of the Baum endload eventually. So you can only purchase the "balanced" model at the moment. Very questionable business decision

Dude. 2012 collegiate summer ball in Virginia I watched the furthest ball I’ve ever seen hit with a Baum bat
honestly I believe baum bats are a bit overrated for what they are. There a good bat but they aren’t a life changing experience and idk why but i get higher exit velos with chandler bats
Chandlers are fire.. but I have a hard time justifying $200+ for a bat that could easily break.
And I still get better velos with a Baum endload. Gotta be endload though - the balanced Baum is mid.

Legit, why does anyone care about exit velo? Love the vids but like, why?
Because it measures how fast the ball is coming off the bat. Every +1 mph of velo equates to about 5 feet of distance (assuming launch angle is the same). Exit velo is the sole reason we have standards like BBCOR, USSSA, USA, BESR, etc.

It's not a wood bat....you can not even use that in the Minor Leagues....
about 99.999999% of the players watching this channel are not in the minor leagues. It's even legal in college summer wood bat leagues.
@@baseballbatbros Funny thing about the Baum bats. They're actually legal in the German 1st and 2nd league. As are several other wood composites from DeMarini, KR3 and Louisville Slugger
