Instead, make a mad dash to get as close to the necro as you can, and hide in the alcove and keep your shield up, swiping them to push them into the path of the chariot if necessary. Then hide in the alcove with the necro and slash the heck out of her. Then run around until the skelies die either by your sword or the chariot, heal, and repeat the process for the second necro. Then switch back to your casting equipment and fight the horse. Keep distance, and when he comes to charge in, you'll have adequate time to dodge roll his charge, roll away from him, and cast again. I died at least 15 times in the beginning part, never even got to the horse, until I abandoned spell casting altogether and just took up the sword and shield. Then I beat the necros and the boss in one shot.

It takes about 1 minute to get to the boss fog from the bridge bonfire. You don't need to fight the executioners on the way. They will fall off the bridge. Just jump onto the platform on the right at the end of the bridge. Same for the red phantom guard if you lure him.

Here's a late delivery of some very well known tips and tricks for this entire ordeal, from the bonfire in the little igloo all the way to the end! 1) ALLURING SKULLS ARE YOUR FRIENDS HERE!! The distract the skeletons for around 10 seconds, allowing you to rush right by and kill the 2 Necromancers without hassle. This is easily the most significant contribution to a win put of all. GET SKULLS!! 2) backtracking a bit, you can actually run right by the 5 Torturers before the bridge. Run by the first, roll right as he does his horizontal spin attack, roll again past the 1st whip user, run across the bridge, and then jump over to the right outcropping at the end, where the Fire Seed was. Wait til the Torturers disperse, then fog in. 3) casters are EZMODO in this fight, as always. I've killed the Chariot in as few as 3 Flame Swathes with a barely upgraded Flame, same as a Cleric with 5 L.spears with a mid-level Priest's Chime. 4) Even as a Melee, this fight is a breeze. Remember your Skulls, keep tossing them along the way, equine a 1 handed weapon that has a good vertical attack, 2 shot the Necros, let the Chariot grind the skellies to dust. Once the Chariots crashed, stay at medium range and bait a charge. Plenty of time to dodge. Oh, and lest you forget, the Dark Breaths can 2 shot combo you at low levels. Bring the Transgressor's Shield that came with the pre-order. The charge and breath are the only 2 attacks worth worrying about. This has been long enough. Now go talk to that midget with the insufferable cadence and voice.
oh you can kill the horse before you close the lever? does his health reset everytime he runs back in the hallway? so I can just shoot him from the alcove? as he passes by?

I didn"t even see the lever lol. I casted a hex at him every time he would come round and at some point he never came back. I walked until the end of the hallway and he was holding for life to the edge of the hole, so I pushed him inside o.O wtf
Another way to beat him is to kill the skeletons and the 2 casters first and then find a safe place, equip a bow and it's done(it helps a lot to have fire arrows, otherwise normal arrows work too but a lot slower).
Im liking your message and commenting so hopefully you come back and remember this part of your life. I just started this boss fight for the first time ever. I hope we can share experiences. ❤
did that (much to the ire of my friend who was like "pull the lever you mf" ) and boy, it was the most relaxing boss fight. Sure, I did get hit by the spikes, but didn't die for the entirety of the fight
This boss on NG+ is literally impossible. Getting to him is almost impossible but there's simply no way to survive the actual fight. The skeletons move way too fast, there's just no way to get past them.
1.) use a decent 100% shield against the skeletons. 2.) follow what Ryan and Lorenzo suggested and don't fight the skeletons. just run forward ignore them, when you hear chariot hide in alcove with your shield up facing the skeletons and let the chariot run them over, you don't have to finish them just make it to the next necromancer and kill him do the same. 3.) close the gate and if you can, you have a free hit to the downed horses. then stay back at least 3 horses away from the boss. if he shoots dark smoke just stay back. keep the boss on locked at all times 4.) STICK TO THE LEFT SIDE WALL ( in preparation for his rush attack ) 5.) as soon as he does the RUSH animation and come at you, keep pushing to the right, your character will walk slowly to the right and the boss will miss his swipe. he always miss this swipe as long as you have room to the right to move to and you did not stop moving to the right when he rush forward ( remember you must have a lock on the boss or else you will run to the right too fast and the boss will catch you ). when he miss, you have a good 2 free shots depending on your weapon. after hitting him... step back a good 3 horses distance. repeat. sometimes when you are near him and he shoots the dark smoke, if you have havel shield on, get your guard up and walk slowly beside the boss and get some free hits while he is smoking. NO ROLLING NEEDED as this will drain your stamina bad. you need that stamina for the hits. when he does the STOMP attack just walk slowly backwards away from him. other videos suggest the range attack approach but that takes longer and a little bit cheap :)

wow first try after this video i don't know why but for me it was incredibly easy to dodge all the attacks i didn't even knowof the lever so I thought this would be a super tedious fight but just time your rolls and stay away from the skeletons (run past and dodge right when the boss is there in an alcove to the resurrecting priest) until you slowly get to the lever, then run away from the gate and use a lot of magic arrows while the horse is down and getting up. Then when he gets closer dodge and bait the purple spitting crap and hit him with a halberd. Easy!
For me he was kind annoying but beat him on my first try for my tips 1.stay away from him but not to far or he'll charge at you 2. Wait for him to do the black flame attack and it takes him awhile to do it so run to the side of him and just beat the hell out him

Same feeling here. It´s so annoying to run all the way over, fighting some tough dudes and then a red phantom, most of the times i can't even pass them to make through the fog...Think i choose the hardest place to go after sinners rise.
Lost sinner is super easy if you bring Lucatiel with you since it splits his focus and messes with his evasion protocols (IE he will back dodge towards you if you are behind him).
whoisyamasta just gotta have patience with the sinner, same as the 3 sentinels, don't rush and you'll be ok. I'm at this doosh now, hardest part is getting there cuz of those assholes before him ugg

basicaly some sort of cleaving weapon that can 1shot or 2-shot in quick succesion these skeletons/caster is a good way to go also being light is increadably benefitial, as you wil have lot easier time dodging chariots attacks and can easly roll throught chariot when it passes

Man I died the most on this boss so far. I totally played this the wrong way at first and just kept dying. To anyone having trouble with this boss, the secret i think is to take it slow. Don't run all the way to the first Necromancer. Just hide in the nooks and kill the skeletons when you need to. By taking it slow and methodically i was able to finally beat this bitch lol Oh and fire bombs are powerful against the chariot horse.
If your a magic user right when you enter run down and let the skeletons get up and use the spell yearn or use a aluring skull and then just take out the necromancers then once you killed all the skeletons just soul arrow or lighting spear any long range attack that horse and I fuckin cleared the whole way there so no enemies where in my way they were the real problem

This was the easiest boss fight of the entire game for me, only because I did it wrong lmao. Easy, but tedious. I couldn't find the lever so I ended up standing in an alcove at the end of a straightaway just pelting the horse with 2-3 arrows every time it went by. Thankfully I came with over 850 arrows but didn't even need 50. I got it down to about 40% health and then suddenly I could hear it winnying still but it wasn't running around the loop anymore. I went to see what was going on and it was stuck on the edge of the chasm and I shot it with one more arrow and it fell, deleting the remaining 40% of its health bar. Victory achieved, dawg. Lmao. Also, a year later and another playthrough later, editing this comment to say I definitely suggest coming to this fight with a strike weapon for the skeletons, obviously, but also bring a thrusting weapon to kill the witches since any weapon you swing at them is gonna bounce off the walls half the time, like in this video. Thrusting weapons are always superior for tight spaces.
I killed this boss in my first try, but it was because I didn’t realize I could close the gate door. So my strategy was to hide in one of the spaces and shoot arrows at it till I killed it lol. I felt it was the worse boss in the game.
Just grind the copse until they stop spawning and then go human and summon 2 people with luck you'll beat it first try. I'm a paladin build so I ran up and when the lever d pulled I got the 2 guys fighting and healed while throwing lightning Spears

First time I tried to defeat him I fell down the hole trying to hit him and also died while trying to hit him as he was passing by, in the end I stayed as close to the edge as possible, far to the right, since when he jumps you are not hit by him there and them just kept shooting arrow until he fell down the hole (and almost fell with him when hitting him with the sword when he was trying to get back up) now I feel dumb realizing I didn't see the lever😅

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but Executioner's Chariot was the easiest bossfight for me (I had massive problems with the red phantom NPC in front of the boss arena though). First time I ignored the skeletons, killed the necromancers and used the little safe spots when the chariot came. On the second run I simply rolled through the chariot's wheel when it came by, ignoring the skeletons completely as their attention span is so short that they lose interest in you really easily. And the fight against the chariot itself isn't really that special. Just gotta be careful (as with any boss).

this is much easier i thought the skeltons immediatly respawned so id just run fast to teh necromancer , then b line it to the switch...no wonder i keep dying.. i didnt think you had time to kil them..thanks ill try this. probably one shot the guy
This boss could have been good, but nah they decided to spam the room with skeletons and now it's utter bullshit. Atleast with the Bed Of Chaos once you get used to the path you can do it easily on the 1st try across other playthroughs, this boss is the equivalent of the capra demon, could have been good, but some dumbass decided to add a bullshit mechanic and now it's no where near enjoyable..

Thank u so much
I knew it! let's try this again...
Just turtle with a shield until the chariot passes
There's a red phantom before this fight and I'm on new game in this area
JapanForSale the second bonfire in huntsman copse is the way to go, but you still have to get past a few sobs I'm hating
I killed him with a crossbow and had 3 shots left didn't even see the lever...
oh you can kill the horse before you close the lever? does his health reset everytime he runs back in the hallway? so I can just shoot him from the alcove? as he passes by?
Im liking your message and commenting so hopefully you come back and remember this part of your life. I just started this boss fight for the first time ever. I hope we can share experiences. ❤
I didn"t even see the lever lol. I casted a hex at him every time he would come round and at some point he never came back. I walked until the end of the hallway and he was holding for life to the edge of the hole, so I pushed him inside o.O wtf
Just chill from the side and shoot the boss with poison arrows lol. You can literally do nothing and win in this fight
Another way to beat him is to kill the skeletons and the 2 casters first and then find a safe place, equip a bow and it's done(it helps a lot to have fire arrows, otherwise normal arrows work too but a lot slower).

did that (much to the ire of my friend who was like "pull the lever you mf" ) and boy, it was the most relaxing boss fight.
NO ROLLING NEEDED as this will drain your stamina bad. you need that stamina for the hits. when he does the STOMP attack just walk slowly backwards away from him. other videos suggest the range attack approach but that takes longer and a little bit cheap :)

wow first try after this video
i don't know why but for me it was incredibly easy to dodge all the attacks
i didn't even knowof the lever so I thought this would be a super tedious fight but just time your rolls and stay away from the skeletons (run past and dodge right when the boss is there in an alcove to the resurrecting priest) until you slowly get to the lever, then run away from the gate and use a lot of magic arrows while the horse is down and getting up. Then when he gets closer dodge and bait the purple spitting crap and hit him with a halberd. Easy!
For some reason sometimes even though I'm in an alcove the chariot still hits and kill me, such bs
thanks gamesradar
For me he was kind annoying but beat him on my first try for my tips
1.stay away from him but not to far or he'll charge at you
2. Wait for him to do the black flame attack and it takes him awhile to do it so run to the side of him and just beat the hell out him

Giant clubs: keeping the gays at bay since 2014
im gay, and thou shalt never keep me at bay.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
im gayyy
Some red spirit is blocking the door and he fucking owns my ass every time
this guy fell from the bridge while we were fighting... I'll never know if he drops something
He doesnt spawn on my game.I think a bug happened on my game and none of the enemies respawn on the way to the purgatory.
In doors of pharros the enemies turned into "statues". Not petrified, but they don't move, get damage, or can be passed trough
Same feeling here. It´s so annoying to run all the way over, fighting some tough dudes and then a red phantom, most of the times i can't even pass them to make through the fog...Think i choose the hardest place to go after sinners rise.
Ha! Killed him first try
Oh wait... this comment is from a year ago...
hardest boss 4 me so far .......... last giant
Well, I assume it was because of my build, but the hardest boss for me was Velstadt.
Lost sinner is super easy if you bring Lucatiel with you since it splits his focus and messes with his evasion protocols (IE he will back dodge towards you if you are behind him).
+Gamer X This is very late but with a 100% block shield The Lost Sinner is ridiculously easy
whoisyamasta just gotta have patience with the sinner, same as the 3 sentinels, don't rush and you'll be ok. I'm at this doosh now, hardest part is getting there cuz of those assholes before him ugg
This is late but that's sad
So basically the key is to have 3 skeletons die in one swing.
Yall can run past all the enemies then jump off into the little space before the fog gate and wait for them to lose intrest in you
or you could run to the end there is little space where you can hit the chariot without getting hit
when i was in that area i skipped this boss currently ive unlocked iron keep but i went back because i need souls and the skeletons keep killing me im a cleric i use a katana infused with lightning + 7 bone scythe +1 and disc chime and dranglic shield my faith is at about 32
anyone have any advice? i really need the souls too level my endurance

I killed this fucking thing once, but it finished me off with some oddball dark dmg and now have to kill this again. Never have I gotten this pissed with a boss before. Easily worst boss thus far.
basicaly some sort of cleaving weapon that can 1shot or 2-shot in quick succesion these skeletons/caster is a good way to go
also being light is increadably benefitial, as you wil have lot easier time dodging chariots attacks and can easly roll throught chariot when it passes

Is the flexile Sentry boss more damaged by the heide Knight sword?

Man, this game really relies on skeletons. Skull souls more like.
Dark Skulls, you could say
You can cheese this boss by not pulling the lever and throwing arrows from a safe place.
Explain how he makes it all around if there’s a giant gap right after the metal door ? Make no sense.
I lost my souls after the boss fight because I fell off the map so make sure to hit the bonfire on the left right after the fight

I lost over 90,000 souls just doing the runs to the arena 💀
greatjob chose unded
I felt it was the worse boss in the game.
that was lit fam
What headpiece is he wearing in this ?
The Head Of Vangral
Just grind the copse until they stop spawning and then go human and summon 2 people with luck you'll beat it first try. I'm a paladin build so I ran up and when the lever d pulled I got the 2 guys fighting and healed while throwing lightning Spears

@@rennss_ OH the memories!! Lightning Spear is still king!! I left this comment 8 years ago! Time flies.
@@CromTheDestroyer haha it definitely does
this fight is annpoying as heck...50 thousand skeletons
First time I tried to defeat him I fell down the hole trying to hit him and also died while trying to hit him as he was passing by, in the end I stayed as close to the edge as possible, far to the right, since when he jumps you are not hit by him there and them just kept shooting arrow until he fell down the hole (and almost fell with him when hitting him with the sword when he was trying to get back up) now I feel dumb realizing I didn't see the lever😅
Those fucking skeletons
The real fiight is getting to the boss and entering
Thanks
The runback is worse than the boss.
How did you get that much health? I'm close to that amount but I want more health.
Leveling up?

I didn't believe the people who said ds2 was bad, what a fool i was 💔
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but Executioner's Chariot was the easiest bossfight for me (I had massive problems with the red phantom NPC in front of the boss arena though).
Then u must not have fought the serpent queen boss don't know the name or the lost giant lol
I have played through this game over 6 times, so yes. I did fight those bosses...
MightyPootisFish i found the most useful/cheesiest way ever to beat the fucking horse bitch omg if u hear what it is u will feel so stupid

Are you a melee?
Find some cover!
what + it your great club in this video
1. use cubby holes
2. kill skeletons/ block their attacks
3. kill the necromancers
4. pull the lever and run away from the gate
5. don't suck and kill em!
Im liking your message and commenting so hopefully you come back and remember this part of your life. I just started this boss fight for the first time ever. I hope we can share experiences. ❤
they should have put a bonfire by the boss. it takes ten minutes to get back to the ring and then you still have to deal with respawning skeletons and shizz. this BS pisses me off!!!!!
How does it take 10 mins? It takes me 2 to 3 tops. Just run by all the enemies.
I'm part necro part melee.
Who’s here in 2019?? 😂😂
I am level 156 i have won the Old Ones..i am in Aldia's Keep and i can't win this boss............
First try, definitely one of the easier bosses
I watch this while I was fighting the boss and I win. A truly disrespect moment
Everybody acting like the run to this was worse than the Gulch. Yeah its way slower which fucking blows, but most people die enough times to despawn these guys. The Black Gulch was worse for me. That said Im finna get this boss hopefully since I more or less got the run down
this is much easier i thought the skeltons immediatly respawned so id just run fast to teh necromancer , then b line it to the switch...no wonder i keep dying.. i didnt think you had time to kil them..thanks ill try this. probably one shot the guy
I DELETED DKS2 CAUSE OF THIS FIGHT FUCK IT DKS1 IS A MILLION TIMES BETTER
Based on how you are writing, I suppose you deleted the icon of Dark Souls 2?
Robert Sokač Ive beaten the game and almost got every achievement now -_-
easiest boss was dragon rider (full floor)
Dragon rider no floor is easier. 0 hits
