Refreshing to see a pro using so few products. Proves you don't have to put a million different things on your face to have great skin. And some pretty affordable products too. Thanks!
I tried garnier and bioderma, but my skin doesn’t really like micellar water. It’s so sensitive. I also use makeup eraser with asian oil cleanser followed by cerave hydrating cleanser. We’re interested to know your skin care because your skin really really looks so good. Haha. Thank you for sharing Nikki ❤
Nikki thank you so much for this video. I think I asked about your nighttime routine a while ago. As a person with mature skin, I’m always interested in what others are using. LOVE your channel. I watch everything you put out!!♥️
At 70, you have opened a whole new world of makeup, technique, product, and skin care insights to this fading beauty. You are a joy and a gift! Weird question: any advice for lining eyelashes that don’t go in a straight line on the very edge of my lids? There are a few lines (long/full/pretty) Liner gives me headaches 😂!!
I’m so surprised about you preferring garnier over bioderma 😳 i feel like the garnier dried my skin out overtime whereas bioderma feels like a more gentle/simple formula overall & less sensitizing for me
@sammistrade 100% with you- bioderma sensibio is the bomb...erases makeup and sunscreen quickly and without irritation abd with only my hands...no pads or whatever necessary. For me, Garnier is absolute trash.
So glad you filmed this Nikki. I just purchased the Isdin serum after you kindly answered the question of “what serum” on your live session 😊 I am in Spain, so wouldn’t be able to buy through your link anyway. I wasn’t sure whether to put moisturizer on top afterwards, so thank you! I am 60 with dry skin, so I use Ponds cold cream to take makeup off, and then Cerave cleanser for dry skin. Really enjoy your videos ❤️
To make your microfiber cloths last longer and not pile is to not wash them with other types of fabrics. Also, only use free & clear laundry detergents. I like to store my used cloths in a bucket under the sink and then pre soak the cloths in a little laundry soap. That way you are guaranteed to remove all of the make up residue.
Nikki, why don't you use an eye cream or neck cream? I have mature skin, but I always use a neck and eye cream. I've been using good skin care since I was a teenager. Just curious.
I’m using this retinal as well and texture is amazing 😍 some days I don’t even need moisturizer love it. This brand is really popular in LATAM I got hooked last year with their sunscreen when my sissy introduced me to the brand 😍
Ahh loved this video! Simple and straight to the point. I’m an esthetician so any skin related is my jam lol. Have you tried Face Halo remover pads? I recommend those to my clients who like to use micellar water but they can be used on their own as well. Happy to see Nikki with a sponsor she so deserves it ☺️
Thank you Nikkie for sharing, for me it's double cleansing with makeup remover oil, cleansing cream, serum, cream, and lip balm. Have a wonderful day 👍👍👍
Yes I do!! Just like in the video I let it sit on each eye for a couple of seconds because that breaks down the makeup then I gently swipe it away. If I’m using a cleansing balm it’s the same thing. Gently massage it onto my eyes and boom. It’s gone!
Honestly the one I used for years before switching to a retinal was the retinol serum with the blue label fork naturium. That’s an easy great one for beginners for sure
Hi! I'm new here and love watching your videos 😁. I have recently started using Garnier Micellar Water annd there are several types. For someone who has fine lines and lovely wrinkly eyelids, do you think one formula is better than the other? I've always had a very simple skin care routine but as I get older, I don't know what I should be adding to what I do. Also, I love love love eyeshadow in all colors. What colors ( other than classic nuetrals) do you think are most popular right now? Thank you!!!
Thank You for all the videos! Just discovered your page and I am hooked! Also I really appreciate all the details and links you list on your description box (THATS COMMITMENT) I know how much time it takes and for that I am very thankful. . YOU THE REAL MVP!!!!!
I'm a 40 yrs user of Lancome Bi-Facil to remove my eye makeup.I use to put it on a cotton square and soak but wasn't removing all the liner and mascara at the base of my eyelashes and I mentioned it to a Lancome makeup artist and she suggested using a Qtip and it works great. I have balms, and Lancome Lait Galatee Confort which is a thinner cold cream then the creme-mouse comfort cleanser. My skin doesn't feel tight afterwards but I don't wear makeup everyday. I'm currently using Beautypie Uber Youth Complexion Overhaul Multi-action Ampoules Retinoid, peptides vitC, zinc and copper. Really enjoying it. I think I'll purchase the one you're recommending, you have such great product suggestions. I use to buy the Skin Medica from my dermatologist office but trying to find a more affordable but a good product. Then I just started using the True Botanicals for the past 1.5 weeks. Will see if I have any improvement. If you have any suggestions to improve wrinkles I would appreciate hearing them. I'm 59 and have lost 34 lbs in the past 6 months. The last few weeks, I've noticed fine lines on my cheeks, and I know it's from the weight loss, but I don't like it, and I don't want fillers. Love your makeup techniques and videos. ❤
the Kose - Softymo - Speedy Cleansing Oil is amazing for first step in removing make up. Interesting you don't like an oil cleanser for first step in cleansing. Have you tried?!
But how many of those cleansing cloths would I have to accumulate before I can throw it in the washing machine? Cause I'm not throwing them in with my clothes! People go on about waste but this also is more water waste, and more electricity use. At the end of the day just do what works best for you.
i’ve been using the fenty milky toner since i watched your daytime skincare video and i’m OBSESSED with it. thank you so much for allllll of your recommendations!!! omg, i saw naturium’s new cafe collection and i’m DEFINITELY picking them up, because i’ve been dyinggg for them to release shades like these!!! 🤎🤎🤎
I still LOVE my milky toner! You know I can’t live without that stuff! And the new balms from naturium I helped give feedback on when they were formulating so I can tell you first hand they are epic!
I have been using the Peter Thomas Roth retinol fusion night time serum w/time-released microencapsulated retinol 1.5% with vitamin C&E. I have been using time for several years & am quite happy with it. I also use Philosophy "when hope is not enough" firming serum. Also Beekman's goat milk moisturizer with peptides. Use a cleansing balm to remove makeup first. If I'm not wearing makeup that day then I use Dr. Kaplan Diamond Contour supercharged 1 minute daily facial.
Great video, thanks Nikki! Can you link the other two lip masks you mentioned? Naturium and one other, i think; it sounded like Meek or Make? Please let us know. Thanks again ⭐
Doesn’t the ISDIN contain ascorbic acid as well? I read the ingredients when it first came out & it scared me a little that all of those ingredients were in 2 pumps of it. Your thoughts?
Hey Nikki. 🙋 Now I know why you glow everytime before applying any makeup. 😄 You have amazing skin. Though I am curious now, do you use any exfoliating acid in the night?
I have the cinnabar pallet, and really enjoyed watching you apply it. I still have trouble getting the winged out effect of the eye, like you did. Very pretty video.
My favorite micellar is actually Lancôme ! It’s so nice and does not irritate my skin what so ever but they have raised the price of it so much I can’t afford it anymore ! I used to be able to get some good deals ! Garnier is pretty good but I like the pink one and the yellow one. I do like Bioderma too tho !
Thank you Nikki for sharing this with us! Your skin is just PERFECTION! Didn't you say once, that your skincare routine takes an hour at night? Have you changed it?
you should totally try the Geek and Gorgeous cleansing balm. It's so great. nice texture and rinses off clean and soft. At night, I apply my first step with cleansing balm and then jump in the shower to rinse off so it does not make a mess at the sink. Also, I like these shorter videos, too!
I appreciate you and Andrea Ali so much for continuing to teach us ❤. specifically on your channel I have learned new techniques that have made my makeup more modern and I have learned about better products for my needs, and less expensive than what is been using at least half the time. Thanks so much 😊
Look at Nikki with a sponsor! Yay! Also I was trying to see who was in the picture in your bathroom and I couldn't tell. Is it Bob Dylan? Also I have that Gardnier Micellar Water but I usually only use it to clean up my eye makeup.
Yes!! Thanks for the support on that Maggie!!!! Have you tried the green bottle specifically of the garnier ? It’s hands down the BEST. and yes it’s Bob Dylan! 😂 you have good eyes
I love it your night time skincare routine, simple quick and fast and go to bed. Lol. Alright night skincare we already watched it. Now show us new morning skin care routine then, in case you love and try other products .Lol sound so demanding 🤪
Good Saturday Morning Nikki. I’ve been hearing how great the Isdin skincare products are. I’ve stopped Tret as my skin does not like it at all. I am finishing up with TT 1%gel, after that I was going to try Medic8 crystal retinal cream, but am going to research more on the Isdin one. Thank you for sharing. Do you use this every night or do you have a skincare routine that’s different on some night? I was surprised that you like Garnier miccelar water more the Bioderma? Please share if you use different products on certain nights. Thank you sweetie for sharing. Your skin looks flawless.
Thank you so much for watching Karla! Yes I use this every night the only thing that gets switched out at the moment is the thicker cream I apply on top and the lip mask But everything else stays the same. The green garnier specifically is just by far better, you’ll see if you try it. It just leaves your skin so so soft and not tight and dry.
Refreshing to see a pro using so few products. Proves you don't have to put a million different things on your face to have great skin. And some pretty affordable products too. Thanks!

Maybe bcz she had an oily skin!!
I can confirm as someone with oily skin, the garnier is my favorite!
I agree there’s something about the bioderma that makes my skin feel tight and slightly dry. The green garnier specifically is the BEST

Thank you so so much for this video. I just ordered the retinal serum yay! I really appreciate the discount ❤️❤️
They discontinued the innisfree green tea cleanser !! What is your recommendation for an alternative?
Does green tea skin care products have caffienebin it? Just wondering.
I’m using this retinal as well and texture is amazing 😍 some days I don’t even need moisturizer love it. This brand is really popular in LATAM I got hooked last year with their sunscreen when my sissy introduced me to the brand 😍
My night time routine:
The Ordinary squalane cleanser
Neutrogena hydro boost cleanser (fragrance free)
NIOD superoxide dismutase saccharide mist
Tretinoin
Avene A-Oxitive retinal eye cream
NIOD modulating glucosides
Skinfix triple lipid peptide cream
CeraVe healing ointment (for lips and to create a barrier around eye area so tretinoin doesn’t migrate there)
Thanks for a streamlined routine that seems far more simple to follow than many. ❤
I really appreciate that this isn't some 15-step convoluted routine
Hi Nikki, I would love to see a video in the near future all about your favorite lip liners. Sending you love and light ❤

a tip for everyone: skip the lip masks, just use vaseline. It stays put until morning too!
true that is all that is needed! vaseline all the way. I have retinol but not this kind whats your view on it?
