- The weather has kept me mostly indoors since the New Year, so when I saw a break in the weather I had to take advantage, and was rewarded with some hungry wild brown trout.
Went there with my dad a day before it closed down for stocking not a single hit all day. The water was high so I guessed someone must have ran through it already
best time to fish is when its over cast skys....

I've been fishing "The Mighty PP" since I was a teenager. It's always good for a trout or two.

did you ever catch tiger trout , you go up musky in changewater, and penwell, thats right what you said about wild trout, I wenr into old boy scout camp, I caught 24 trout in 2 hrs, and 1 was about 2lbs.. I fly fish in NJ since the 50s.. that tells me how old I am.. good luck

Outstanding beginning to 24! When you fish this creek approximately how far fo you go? We have been getting rain so our ponds and lakes are starting to raise a bit. Everything here has been drastically low. One of my favorites is at least 3 feet low.😢
This creek is a solid hour-plus from where I live. It's worth the drive.
Do you just pick whatever lure comes to mind or is there a reason? I’m guessing it’s whatever you feel like at the time.
It's a combination of things, but usually I look at water conditions and that gives me an idea of what to use.
Is that the Stony Brook in Princeton?
Lard do you typically walk downstream or upstream… here or anywhere you fish?
For small creeks I like wading upstream to avoid disturbing the silt and sending it into the holes I want to fish.
How do you manage your landing net walking thru the woods?
It does get hung up on thorn bushes sometimes, but it's not that bad.
