Dude , you make my day, month and year. I regret from the first day I sold my CRX but I can't turn back time. Just looking how much passion and love you giving to CRX is outstanding! Great job, keep on! 👏🤞
i owned a "Black" CRX ED9 for almost 14 years. i just sold that one this week. because this sunday i am going to buy a CRX EE8 from a collector. that one is also "Black" freshy repainted etc. i cant wait.
Nice!!! This is what I want to do with mine 89 Crx-si. Only 90k original miles ,stock D16A6. I wish you could do this for me man. I don't mind traveling from NJ to where u at😢..nice work...
Why not micro fiber cloth clear coat? It works great on wood and plastic with less waste and overspray. The more coats you add the deeper the shine. With a next to no dust facility even better finish and look before polishing.
You may have addressed this before but what compressor do you use and paint gun? Thanks for these awesome videos. I have a 99 hatchback that I’m going to paint at some point and I’m learning a lot from your videos.
I would recommend a name brand high quality tape. I had some issues with a cheap brand but switched to this with good results: www.amazon.com/dp/B0082LHX3G/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_S9H5CYS515BJZAVHZ2TR?linkCode=ml2&tag=sethbyers-20
I'm not sure why this video needed to be made? It is certainly a silly car. It shows that young men are quite ignorant. Who would want to drive or own that car?
Im a simple man, i see a Seth video, i hit the like button!
Black paint and the body lines of a CRX are a match made in heaven. Can’t wait to see this back together. Great work Seth.
Thanks!

How long after your last coat of clear did you wait before peeling the tape off?
30 minutes or so.
@@crxseth thank you
Oooooooooft 😮another one
Beautious!
Nice ✌🏻🇳🇱
Did you use a sealer coat? Or did you just block the primer? Looks good
Just blocked primer.

PS goggles for protecting your eyes.

33-gallon Craftsman oil-less with the Spectrum 1.3 Harbor Freight paint gun.
@@crxseth thank you
Never realized the oem black is a "warm" black (has red tone instead of blue for "cool" black
If you worked on other peoples crx's as a business I would definitely send my 88sicrx to you to tear it down and rebuild it 100 percent.
Thanks for the confidence!
What tape did you use for the bumpers for the trim paint transition to the actual paint?

How long have you been painting🎨 cars Seth?
This is the third car I’ve painted. All CRX. first in 2019, second in 2021.
