    Beef Bong Paye
    Ingredients for Stock:
    Bong 1 kg
    Paye 1
    Onion (sliced) 1 cup
    Ginger (chopped) 1 tbsp
    Garlic (chopped) 1 ½ tbsp
    Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
    Bay leaf 1-2
    Black peppercorns 1 tsp
    Jaifal powder 1/2 tsp
    Javitri powder 1/2 tsp
    Salt 1 tbsp
    Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
    Cinnamon sticks 2
    Water 2 liters
    Ingredients for Bong Paye:
    Oil 1 cup
    Onion paste 1 cup
    Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
    Red chili powder 2 tbsp
    Coriander powder 1 tbsp
    Coriander powder 1 tbsp
    Salt 1 tsp / to taste
    Yogurt 1 cup
    Oil 1 cup
    Stock 5 cups
    Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
    Directions for Stock Preparation:
    1. In a pot add bong, paye, onion, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, bay leaves, black peppercorns, jailfal powder, javitri powder, salt, turmeric powder and water and cover it. Cook it for 7-8 hours on low flame or until fully done. Then separate bong paaye and stock. Reserve them for later use.
    Directions for Bong Paye Preparation:
    2. In a pot heat oil and add onion paste. Cook for a minute. add ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
    3. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook for 2-3 mins.
    4. Add yogurt and cook until oil separates. Add stock and cook for 3-4 mins.
    5. Add prepared bong paye, garam masala powder and cook for 4-5 mins on low medium flame.
    6. Beef Bong Paye are ready. Serve and enjoy

    Cooking Time: 10-12 hours
