@@nikhilmanavadaria5541 average value 500 hai toh wahi rahegi transfer k case men jo k khud se fill karna hoga 50 ka notional loss show karega jabki gift k case men 450 yani aaj k close vale per credit hoga

Sir I have a doubt
2 years ago I bought 200 shares of Tata motors @ 417. Now it is near 1030 rs. If I book profit now, I have to pay LTCG tax. I have also booked long term profit of some other stocks as well.
Now if I transfer this tata motors share to my wife's demat account and she sells those will she have to pay LTCG or STCG tax?
jaisa ki maine apne wife k account men transfer kiya hai toh waha fir se days count hona shuru honge, matlab wife ko short term capital gain dena hoga baaki mai aur details pata karta hun

Anyway to redeem my mutual fund of Motilal oswal?
I invested on zerodha coin and transferred my mf through cdsl to groww.
Now groww shows them as external mf and doesn't allow redemption while zerodha says mf have been debited from my account amd doesn't show on coin.
