I'm confused. For the link spider play is there a reason why your opponent has to nib you at that point? Wouldn't they just wait until you get rid of the flamburg yourself? If they do it afterward it's way better for them.
They are hoping the opponent doesnt know what Flamburg does. i know most people at my locals know what the Diabellstar stuff is but not Flamburg so i kinda get it. But yeah hoping your opponent is an idiot is wishful thinking.

It really depends when they nib you. Makes it much more awkward for them to nib you correctly compared to not playing it
