I have been a firefighter for over 30 years. I retired as a fire captain and currently volunteer for our city's 6 station fire department which provides fire protection and EMS services for over 120,000 population. Even after all the years there's nothing more satisfying than listening (such as the BFD Command) to a well coordinated command--providing direction and control operations.
