Crochet Bicycle Applique Tutorial

- In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet bicycle applique.

For this pattern you will need red, grey, black, green, white and yellow 8 ply wool which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors, a darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and a sewing needle to stitch the bike together. Small beads if desired to stitch to the flowers.
The finished size will be 18cm x 13cm (7” x 5”) for the large bicycle, using 8 ply wool. The medium bicycle will be 13cm x 8cm (5” x 3”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton.

How do you make a wheel like this but much smaller
The centre of the wheel could be worked the same or you could work 1 or 2 less single crochet. For the spokes work either double crochet or treble depending on how big you want the wheel. You'll also need less chain between the spokes. Hope this helps.
