Crochet Cement Mixer Tutorial - Crochet Applique Tutorial

In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet cement mixer applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool. I used red, blue, yellow, grey and black 8 ply wool, which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. A crochet hook, I used a 3mm hook. Scissors and a darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the cement mixer together. Black thread to embroider on a door handle if desired.
The finished size will be 14.5cm x 12cm (5.75” x 4.75”) for the larger cement mixer, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium cement mixer will be 10.5cm x 8cm (4” x 3.25”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small cement mixer will be 8cm x 6.5cm (3.25” x 2.5”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
