Pondbuster Custom Balsa Crankbait Bill Slot Jig

Another short video of the jig I built to cut bill slots in my balsa baits. After watching a very few videos of other jigs that guys use to cut bills, and after a long process of thinking this jig out, I finally got a system that cuts the bills perfectly. Some people like a very shallow bill slot, but my baits have a dowel running down the middle of it, and I like to glue the bill into the bait where the inside dowel, the belly weight, and all of the hardware are one solid unit surrounded by epoxy and balsa. This jig is a beast. Nothing better than making a jig that works flawlessly and will last forever. :)
UPDATE: The video doesn't show that there is a small indention cut into where the lure is held that accommodates the bottom screw eye. There is also a piece of foam padding on the fence where the fence pushes against the bait (so it doesn't dent or scratch it).
