Cape Of Good Hope | South Africa

The Cape of Good Hope is at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula, Western Cape province, South Africa. This impressive part of The Table Mountain National Park is about 65KM away from Cape Town.
It was first sighted by the Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias in 1488 who named it The Cape of Storms. Many years later it was renamed to Cape of Good Hope to attract more people to the Cape Sea Route that passed the southern coast of Africa.
We arrived early in the morning and we had the place all for ourselves for a while!

Een dag eerder stond er 's middags een file bij het Pay Point en toen zijn we meteen omgedraaid. De volgende morgen extra vroeg op pad en zeer benieuwd naar de 'drukte' en wat bleek, wij waren (heel eventjes) de enige!
