The steering wheel bolt is TTY- torque to yield. You're supposed to put a new one when you reinstall, and torque to 41 lb-ft. If you overtorque the old bolt it may twist right off...

The real star imo is the carbon fiber covers for the area around the buttons. It’ll make a normal aftermarket steering wheel look great.

Jacob, congratulations on your continued success of your channel and build. Your 5.0 is sick. My 2014 5.0 is still bone stock (Just got it about 2 months ago). Knew I had to have the car, as I was a valet in Scottsdale when it was released. Keep up the great work man.

Next will be:
1. Wheels & Tires (Thinking lighter gunmetal grey to go with the dark blue paint. Verde or Velgen, but wanna stay below 20")
2. Exhaust (Long tube headers & off-road x-pipe, either corsa or borla, though I love the sound of the roush)
3. Intake (K&N)
4. New speakers and probably a 12" sub (I've had great experience with Infinity)
And the white shifter knob is already on the way, because I always loved them when I got to drive Shelby's
I want to keep it naturally aspirated, but that may change down the road.
I do alot of research before I buy, so these might alter.

I've been thinking about getting one for my 2013 Mustang GT, but I'm not paying the regular price for it. I found one on Amazon that's a much better price. However I don't know if it's a good idea cause my car is now 10 years old, and I've only got a year left until it's paid off, and I'm planning on selling it and I don't know if people will take it with the carbon fiber wheel.

Jacob R. Doty for sure! Especially if you want the blackout look. I just did plasti dip because it’s easy to apply and take off and only took about 10 mins 🤷🏻♂️
@@tyleroneill5799 I did the same thing. The plasti dip turned out great. The middle is black and my steering wheel looks like doty's but Kona blue stripe and stiching. Really makes the 2010 Mustang interior look premium.
Speaking of airbags..... Anyone got that recall notice? I still havent done mine because all the dealers have been out of stock for quite some time. Thanks for reminding me I need to do this though!

If its alcantara, it wont last as long as the leather that comes stock on gt premiums...and wont last any where near as long as this carbon fiber. Real carbon fiber isnt cheap.

Yeah $799 isn’t cheap but it’s a pretty sweet product. Hand made and custom. I’ve been wanting one for a while so when I could I finally got it 🙏🏼

I do too. Especially to retain airbag and oem buttons for radio. Look up a sparco carbon steering wheel lol... $1200 and has none of that. And then you need the hub adapter

Steering wheel looks great but now the horn button sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn't match. Looks so cheap next to a high grade steering wheel. I'd only buy it if there was a horn button swap with it. The company that makes these should think about that. For that kind of price I want my horn to match too.
