Wow.....When Rick goes into The Moon.......it sounds so fucking good. Like someone sitting on your porch playing to the actual moon. I love this so much
@@plopgasm09 thats definitely not fuck the police lol, not even close. Feel like it shares some progressions/licks/chords/etc from Ropes Length so maybe its an early working version of that song, since this video came out a couple years before that album.
I asked Rick about this song after he played it at a solo show. He says it's something he's had for a while, but was struggling to actually write an entire song around it. Pretty sick as is though, hopefully we'll hear a full band version in the future.
first an old-folks home, and now a baby. I feel like Rick is trying to build a fan base based on a very wide ranging demographic
Cornering every market 🤣
Should’ve played “baby boy”... screamed the chorus at him.
Whenever I’m feeling down I just tune into this video…there is no better experience than Rick serenading a baby 👌🏼👌🏼
This an amazing video, I had the privilege of seeing pile perform in NC this year. Such great music
(late, but here’s the songs⭐️)
2:03 - the moon
5:03 - mr. fish
10:13 - touched by comfort
what ever that first tune he played before the moon was, I've had it along with me for years now
I swear ricks guitar playing (especially on instrumentals) is like John Fahey meets punk
baby will be superhuman for having heard this

9:43 touched by comfort

I’d love to know the story behind this video, if anyone knows.

+Leon Manson think it was rick just noodlin about on his guitar
It's an un-released track!
