I remember seeing “Killswitch” on a venue sign in Jacksonville, FL. My brother and I joked that it was a comedian trying to fool people to go to the show. This was after we saw the video “Fixation on the Darkness.” About a year later we found out that it was Killswitch and there were a bunch of bands touring that weekend. My brother and I were kicking ourselves when we got back to South Florida.
I used to wait for fridays in 2004 to catch this video on head bangers ball... Or for julia to play it on this one channel cant remember... Still listening in 2025

Man, I love me some Metal core. Grew up to it. Helps me contain my insanity, gets me pumped up, keeps my will strong and keeps me from giving up. I hold the genre of metal deep in my heart I feel it in my soul. My connection to metal and metal core is a bond that will never grow old. In my head I have these songs, songs from my dreams people may have never heard before but believe me metal will never die in my mind. Metal is my soul.

Literally the lifeblood of the band, produced all their music in studio, can play every instrument, has insane clean vocals when he wants to :D without that kind of talent they couldnt be anything like they are

I can only imagine the feeling of playing in front of a crowd like that. Knowing your music has touched someone's soul enough to come see you perform, that's an honor and an amazing gift.
