She's obviously confusing the "cost of the EPA" with the "economic burden of EPA regulations." In any case, I think the bureaucrats at the EPA know a lot more about the environment than she does, and I don't mean just the high-level bureaucrats. I suspect that the EPA's secretaries and janitors have a better handle on air and water pollution than does Marjorie Taylor Greene, assuming they've been working there for a decade or so. She doesn't seem the least bit interested in pollutants, much less how to regulate them.

Part of her argument is that electric vehicles are too heavy for the raods- they may be heavier than a regular sedan or hatchback but they don't compare to the gigantic trucks and SUVs that fill our road!

As a kid, the summer was mild in New England. We’d have about a month of uncomfortable hot weather. Fast-forward 30 years and it’s closer to 3-4 months of uncomfortable gross weather. Not to mention hurricane season started 2 months earlier.

This EPA Bs Needs to stop, they need to be defunded out of existence, I did not vote for these people. I am tired of these three letter agencies that were never elected by the people or for the people making rules that we have to live by no one shit hole, and a position, unless they are elected to it not appointed to it.

In California, EVs outsold ICE cars hands down. Most people want them, it's just that they have been too expensive for most people. Now that costs have been coming down, a lot more people are getting them. I, myself, will as soon as I can. EVs are 1000 times better than ICE cars in every way now. Thanks to Tesla's network of chargers, the anxiety of long-range driving is a thing of the past. Waking up every morning to a full charge that only costs about $5 to top off is awesome! 90% of EV owners charge at home. The only routine maintenance you're ever going to pay for is tire changes; everything else lasts the life of the car.*

MTG do you realize that the F250/350s, Dodge 2500/3500 and Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 pick up trucks that folks in your district, drive them around town like they're Toyota corollas weight from about 7000lbs to well over 8000lbs. I'm sure you don't mind if they tear up the roads because they're not EVs.

The plan isn't for everyone to own an EV. The plan is for everyone to use Govt provided transportation. Everyone except the chosen elites, of course. The lights never go out where the rulers live.
People are actually heavier per square foot than a car. When bridges are completed they’ll have marches across them to show their strength. Just calculate the avg weight of a car with it’s overall foot print.
My 200# per sq foot is a lot light than a cars 1000+# per sq foot. Remember, a car only has 4 contact points.
