Expiery starts after opening the product. If u didn’t open the product the the time does not count. That’s why the symbol at the back is an opened circle bottle. Meaning the time after opening. Example 12 m after opening
For a sealed bottle like the original lotion bottle with the pump top you showed- it would probably take a long time for it to go off since the contents aren't really being exposed to the air or bacteria unlike the lotion tub you showed after where the manner of dispensing of the product involves you actually putting your hands into the product (thereby exposing it to bacteria, etc).
The number in the back with the can symbol is not the expiry date, it is actually "period after opening". Products usually last longer than that period after opening if they were stored how they were supposed to be stored. So definitely take a take a look at the product first, if it hasn't been very long and the product itself looks and feels fine then it is probably ok to be used (definitely throw it out if it smells bad or looks "off"). :)
The happiest thing i appreciate about Lina is she never lets her fans down every single comment she loves and she replies. Youre the best vlogger in youtube history!!
Hi! For sure! I've had it saved in my sound effects folder forever, so I'm not 100% sure that this is where I got it from but I'm pretty sure it has the same sound around the 40 second mark: ua-cam.com/video/YFQgqgNedls/v-deo.html
Lipstick expires fairly quickly actually lol. The only thing that last a long time is powders. So eyeshadows, blush, bronzer and setting powders. But skincare is just liquids so that expires in a year, sometimes less.
Really glad you inform people about beauty products. And no it's not about the industry wants us to buy more products(they do), but this is about the bacteria that grows inside of it. Heat and the moist are two things that makes the bacteria grow fast. So for example: at 37°C one bacteria can actually grow into a thousand more in just three hours. After 6 it can be one million. But it really depends on what product it is. Also the mascara.. I would say only one month of use to be on the safe side. There is typically water inside a mascara. Water and air is two great things for bacteria and fungus to grow. Also... I wouldn't recommend buy the sponges for putting on foundation. They are a serious bacteria bomb. I work at a hospital so I know a little about this. Great videos btw. you seem great :-)
Doing a massive bathroom declutter in about a week or so, this helps a lot. We have so much stuff that we bought and rebought when we couldn't find the original thing we bought. Nobody should own that many bandages...lol
This video is really inspiring me to clean and organize my bathroom! Random question lol, I looked up the oatmeal sweater from garage because its so cute! I'm wondering if you could tell me what size you got because I'm trying to figure out which size I should get. Thank you!
thanks so much for subscribing!!! I got it from Garage! I think they recently restocked it actually: www.garageclothing.com/ca/p/80s-mock-neck-sweater/10006028823Y.html there it is!
I think with body and bath products we are all guilty of not liking something but not throwing it away right away because we don't want to waste money. But that just adds to the clutter. I have tried to use up what I can and just let go of what didnt work for me.
You're so so right! that's exactly it. Sometimes I'll end up using products I don't like just for the sake of finishing them.... but there's no point, after a while I just leave the rest there and it adds to the clutter. So definitely good to let go like you said!
Not really! just a very quick wipe for some of them. Because I was moving, I just decided to do the decluttering part of things, and leave the cleaning for when we did the huge deep clean of the entire house once we'd taken all of our stuff out! But if I hadn't been moving out, I definitely would've done a more thorough clean/wipe the drawers better!
Even unopened products expire. Some products will have an expiration date on the package if not I would throw out products you’ve left unopened for 2-3 years
that makes total sense! I don't know why I hadn't even thought about this or looked into it before doing this bathroom declutter. but it's so good to know, thanks!
This was such a random observation but yes girls! Let's make menstrual health so common ! The diva cup originally an investment ($30 or so) but non toxic eco friendly can last for I think 10 years !
wow, that's a lot of expired stuff. Maybe you should start organizing your bathroom more frequently xd. 10:00 a lot of stuff like chilling on the floor line was so hilarious xd.
oh I definitely should! I organize it a lot more than I "declutter" it, so even the expired products would look organized but there was no point in even keeping them haha so I should definitely declutter more often
It’s paper towel hahaha like the kind you use to clean the kitchen! Toilet paper would be awful to clean with, it would be soo inefficient. But even with corona, now there’s no toilet paper shortage haha
Whenever I do a massive clean up, I take a before and after picture and it’s amazing
yesss!! honestly just having those before/after pictures is motivating enough for me to start a good clean up!
I look at them and just think wow I can do that
let’s do it 😎
Then I do it and feel awesome for the rest of the day 🤩
Yes girl ! I love this. The self talk of "why didn't I just recycle this?!" Me!
glad you can relate!!! hopefully we'll both get better at that in the future!

Yes exactly!! I should’ve clarified that’s what I meant when I pointed to the 12 month one. I’d opened wayyy before 12 months hahaha

Ooo boy !! So much of Hard work
Wow looks amazing!!😍 I gotta declutter and organize my bathroom before I move so I don’t have so much stuff. Wish me luck!😂😅

that's so awesome!!! you're so welcome, thanks for watching!
Great video! And good luck with your audition!
thanks so much!! It went well!
sooo satisfying! hii, lina! may I ask how do you put the “plop” sound when you point to stuff where do you get it from? ✨✨💘 xx
Hi! For sure! I've had it saved in my sound effects folder forever, so I'm not 100% sure that this is where I got it from but I'm pretty sure it has the same sound around the 40 second mark: ua-cam.com/video/YFQgqgNedls/v-deo.html

i definitely keep and use expired products too lol!
lolol I swear I need to be more conscious of this and go through them a lot more often!! It's so easy to forget!
When I did my bathroom I just threw all the recyclable stuff in the bathtub so when I was done I could just clean them out in there.
wait this is actually soo smart, I wish I'd done this!
Gurl u should have more subcribers and viewers your videos r so nice💜
Thank you so much 😀
Heyy oatmeal is back!😉
hahaha yes you noticed!
Lipstick expires fairly quickly actually lol. The only thing that last a long time is powders. So eyeshadows, blush, bronzer and setting powders. But skincare is just liquids so that expires in a year, sometimes less.
I don't know how I didn't know this sooner hahaha, I feel a bit dumb in hindsight! but that's good to know!
Hmm, real “before-after” spoilers are on ig😂🤫
lolol yes! I probably should've posted those after I posted this video haha

@@lina.lecompte thank you soo much for replying! And awesome I’ll definitely check it out! ❤️
That bottom cabinet is where products go to die 😂
Wow 👏🏻
When I'm at work and I need to get shit done, hair goes up. 👆

It expires in 12 months after you open it
Super helpful...if I remembered when I opened it....
good video. Im surprised you still use pads lol.
very occasionally - I mostly use tampons, but I like keeping pads around anyways just in case (usually use them at night!)
@@lina.lecompte BTW your editing is really good

very!! I swear I just hit upload 5 seconds ago haha so quick!
You’re cute
aww thanks!
Yeah I bet that being burned alive is like being cooked like a chicken
I was thinking “Oy” instead of “that’s a lot of stuff”. Perks of being a minority!
You are cleaning with toilet paper during corona/quarantine ?😱 seriously ?!
