- This video has been made especially for Igor Cukrov who asked about this how to use MIDI recording to record drums automation from Styles in Yamaha PSR Keyboard directly into FL Studio / FPC VST plugin.
If you want to learn How to record Style Drums set from Yamaha keyboard in FL Studio and make #FPC live session recording via USB MIDI - this video tutorial will be great choice.
You can also use this method to capture / record drums from any external 3rd party hardware source that supports MIDI standard.
We will be using FL Studio 20 and Yamaha PSR S975, but same features could be found in other PSR S and SX models like PSR S670, PSR S770 and PSR SX900, PSR SX600 Yamaha Genos , Tyros and more.

In the first part we will be configuring MIDI in both Windows computer (FL Studio) and Yamaha PSR Keyboard
In second part we will change mappings in FPC module of FL Studio to match the styles drums symbols mapping and in the last part we will record the rhythmic section of the Yamaha PSR Style

I've found the video Mr walker I've watched it .all ok now only 1 thing I need to know.. my songs are on my usb so how do I know get it working through the fl studio 10 I've got
You can import MIDI song and use FL Studio as MIDI engine or work on-line and connect FL studio to Yamaha to play through Yamaha directly from FL Studio. Here is the example:
