  • Professor Dr. Mansoor Akbar Kundi was born in D. I. Khan in 1955. He graduated from Degree College from Dera and MA in Political Science from University of Peshawar in 1978. He joined University of Balochistan as Lecturer in September 1979. He did MS from University of Arizona and Ph. D from University of Balochistan, Quetta. He retired from service on 30 August 2015. During 36 years of his service career he remained 14 years out of Quetta: 4+4+4+2 years simultaneously in US as student; 4 years in Turkey as a scholar on chair and teaching in Cag University; plus VC Gomal University and Executive Director HEC.
    After retirement he taught for 4 years in the Department of IR and Politics at International Islamic University, Islamabad. In September 2019 he was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariyya University of Multan.
    He is again teaching at IIUI where his lectures attract students. Teaching is his passion and love, and so is writing and travelling. Vlogs making is his old age time passed activity.
    He has three sons and one daughter: Yasir Mansoor Kundi, Rabia, Yaver and Hamza. Yasir is Assistant Professor in IBA Karachi, Rabia and Yaver in London, while Yamza Mansoor Kundi is studying in Garrison Cadet College, Kohat.
    His loving wife, Farhana is a house wife and comes from Kundi family.
