7:08 About the Ferrari doors, the same happens with the Audi RS6, the door closes automatically, the maximum amount you can close manually is like a leaning door and the rest is with a pneumatic engine, so without power, no closed doors.
Hey Kym - those cars coming from Michigan had quite the drive! From Detroit to Montreal, it's a 570 mile drive which equates to 9 HOURS! That's crazy! Surely there's an Alfa Romeo dealership closer than that, either in Toronto or Montreal. I don't understand why those cars had to come from so far away!
lots of press/test cars registered in Detroit Michigan reside in the Toronto area. Some of the GM, Dodges, Chryslers, fiats, Alfas and Fords are assembled in southern Ontario too, so likely they've come from there.
Sometimes it just depends on the car rental place (if that’s what is happening). I’m in Ontario and have had Quebec cars because of one way rentals. Same with Uhaul - plates from all over the US up here.
It is not uncommon in certain provinces (Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia) for rental companies to have cars from America in their fleet. The big rental companies are the same in Canada and the USA and there are a lot of commuter and business travel and even people that live in one and work in one country and live in the other when the big cities are close to the border. Michigan is far, but that vehicle has likes done many one way trips in its short life
The home of Beavertails is in fact Killaloe, a tiny town in northern Ontario. There is still a location there, but it's not the original, that having closed down a few years back.
Hey Kym - Hope all is well!! Luv Luv Luv these BTS clips. I've been to the Montreal GP a few times and have never seen the bridge from that parking area b4. Is this new? I take it that bridge is for drivers & teams only NOT for Paddock Club tix holders right? Hope u enjoyed Montreal - lots of events & activities on Peel, St Catherine & Crescent streets also the Latin Quarter is fun too. FYI - on a non F1 night the rooms at the Fairmont go for $400-$500/night BUT during F1 they start at $2K/night. Geez Louise!! All the BEST Kym - Cheers from Vancouver, Canada. PS - Very disappointed in that leaking issues on the SF 90 Spider. Come on Ferrari!!
That parking area looks like something I would find on a small local rallycross track but not on a Grade 1 Motorsports venue. Pretty cool nonetheless Also 2 years member already! Time flies
Kym are you by any chance coming to the Chicago NASCAR Street Race happening in July 1 & 2? It would be awesome if you did a meet-up and although I’m not a NASCAR fan personally, it would I’m sure be a very unique circuit to photograph and in downtown Chicago (maybe give some exposure for a possible Chicago Grand Prix one day!)
Hi Kym! I was wondering if there's particular spot at a particular time that I could arrive early to get autographs on anyday..? I only have seat tickets though, not paddock passes. Thanks you :))
Michigan is the home of the big 3 US automakers so it makes sense that a foreign company like alpha would set up base there too. Assuming their cars are on loan from the manufacturer
Hi @KymIllman, ERROR ALERT at 1:15, the map graphic! I think you'll find that the drivers actually access the narrow grass parking area by coming from the other direction, at the hairpin end of the Ill Notre Dame island. They come via Pont Cosmos and thru the support paddock area somehow, im pretty sure. I don't think there is even any road access from Victoria Bridge to the circuit. You certainly have marked the car park area looking East into the wrong body of water, whereas they should be walking West across your little bridge to the paddock.
Hi Kym ... Love the channel and the content. Just one problem, I haven't got the awesome T shirt with the goat on it. It's absolutely perfect for me being born a capricorn. Please can I have the sellers webpage. Thank you and I'm staying passionate. ☮
I find it a little embarrassing to make these world class drivers park in such shoddy conditions. I like the bridge walk for all the media to have time and photograph, but come on #canadiangp #F1canada. Can't we do a little better? Great coverage Kym! Thanks!

Danny Ric with the classic “Pieeeereeeee Gassslyyyyyyyy!” Love it!

Dani Ric as supportive of Pierre as Usual
The drivers had some VERY nice cars in Montreal in that little parking area across the bridge.
Yes, true

The V90 is a Cross Country model, it has about the same off road capability of the XC60 suv.

Love the old Top Gear reference. Nice to see a Ricciardo cameo, as well.
Oh yeah!
Really enjoyed this! Carlos’ car was 🙌🔥🤍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great editing as always. Particularly liked the Top Gear clip 😊

It's an island with limited space, can't expect more.
@@sebastienauger4068 yeah that’s fair
Thanks for supporting the channel
Kym, so glad you’ll be attending a nascar race this weekend!! Nashville is also a great city to visit, hope you have a great time!
Me too

I’m not.
Always great videos
Glad you like them!
Good to see the organisers went all out to provide parking for the boys
Absolutely
I thought you edit all your videos? Did you get an editor or did you reference yourself when saying mr. Editor?
More being edited in Perth so I can maintain my 3.5 videos a week
@@KymIllman Yes outsource where ever you can. Less hrs for you + that person is probably efficient at his/her job.
All the BEST Kym!!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Can’t not laugh that F1 drivers weren’t parking in the marked bays, LOL!
Drivers once again not caring about track limits, over the white line.
Ferrari with car trouble. What else is new?
5:08 George shirtless again
I look forward to the time you film a IMSA race
Anyone else pretend to be shocked that the only cars that had issues with rain and had to have the door taped shut was a friggin Ferrari!
Michigan is the home of the big 3 US automakers so it makes sense that a foreign company like alpha would set up base there too. Assuming their cars are on loan from the manufacturer
Of course George Russel is without a shirt… 5:08

Seems unlikely given the angled parking is oriented west to east.
You should've made the trip out to Portland for the Formula E race instead of NASCAR this weekend!
Gasly is lucky he didn't get pulled by the cops . . . I've got a motorbike here in Canada and we're not allowed to filter through traffic, it sucks!
Nice to see you wearing a shirt of Lewis Hamilton. Looks great on you. 😍
I love it!
Where is Ocon's car?
I mentioned it in the video didn’t I?
Nissan
Curious who's the stay passionate character ?????

What's shoddy about a grass parking space?
They are on an island. Very limited space.
Why don’t they get a helicopter to circuit
Its not permitted in Montreal.
Ferrari always takes Ls on F1 weekends
