It’s all a mindset .. once the kids start getting more confident knowing what he’s doing u got someone pushing them that all will build aggression . I also believe Doing lots of hitting drills will condition them physically as well as mentally for football . I have my son drilling hitting drills over and over . The progression he’s made this year is unreal .
I got 2 sons on the same team. 10 and 7, my 7year old is extremely nervous and even cries by half time every game and he’s a linebacker that just pussy foots around and my 10 year old is the number one player in the league he plays QB. At home my 7 year old will knock 10 year olds socks off he’s a beast and very aggressive loves to fight even but out on the field he acts like he’s clueless... I’ve taught him what to do over and over again and he says he gets it and then the game starts and he’s clueless again.. I take his Fortnite away and he flips out and says he’ll hit someone next time and then he doesn’t do it.. I think I may have to just take the X Box for awhile..
You’re being a terrible dad. Your son is clearly better at home to impress you. If he doesn’t want to play, don’t force him to you. Parents like you are the reason football has gotten the reputation of a meat head sport.

@@chowell1451 What's your point? He's aggressive asf he beats his old brother up all the time. He is dealing with nerves but he's a really good player. Are you a father? Its frustrating knowing he's a talented young boy that wants to play football but gets scared when it comes time to do it. If he didn't like football I'd tell him to quit but he doesn't want to quit. The original comment is right taking away fortnite is the only motivation these kids have these days. Anyway he's playing on a whole new level because he pushed through he's almost the best on his team. I'm the coach of the team btw. I didn't have a dad growing up I'd kill to have had someone push me to be my best self when I was young
@@GameOver-if2le just let dude enjoy his childhood. He’s 7 he’s got like 10 more years of football minimum. Give him time to grow instead of making his life a living hell. But hey if that’s how u want to parent ur kids go for it I’m in no place to tell u what to do with ur kids. Just saying forcing things on a kid tends to make them hate that such thing later on.
@@chowell1451 He wants to play. He would cry if I took him off the team. Trust me I grew up in my grandmother's basement in a rough neighborhood in NY. I dont hit my kids and I try not to yell in front of them. He loves football and he is very talented. How do you think these superstars are made? The day he doesn't seem interested in it and wants to pursue something else I'll support him but he crys after every game he loses and blames himself. Either way he's a beast now he's a strong kid. His older brother weighs way less then him and hes not overweight just stocky. I'm proud of him and always will be no matter what. Being a parent isnt always about giving the child what they want how they want it it's about motivating them to be the best they can be.

I agree. If you know what you're doing you play faster. You play faster you feel confident which allows you to be more aggressive in your approach
Just had a terrible game so I'm here
First Friday in the trenches tomorrow. Coach tells me I’m not confident enough so I’m tryna figure this shit out before tomorrow 😂

Greetings from the future. This just shows the WANT to get better. Some don’t want to seek help outside of practice. Awesome to see.
Had this exact discussion last night with some of the players. Once they've learned they're ok, the confidence grows. Thansk
I did something wrong he didn’t tell me how to fix it he just took me out of the game
My coach thinks high impact drills is going to get you Aggressive
Hd Ohio it will, over time it will become normal for you to make aggressive contact.

wait how the hell you got a 10 and 7 year old on the same team? if the 7 year old (2nd grader) is being forced to tackle 5th graders that's your issue
