Blue star has always been my favorite Warrior Cats character. She was just such a breath of fresh air on the whole “stern, all-knowing leader” trope. She was a cat burdened with both overwhelming responsibility and extreme trauma and guilt. Who, unlike the villains of the series, didn’t become leader for her own selfish goals, but rather to protect the clan she loved from those with evil intentions (Thistleclaw, and later Tigerclaw), and only received constant betrayal, condemnation and divine punishment from Starclan in return. She lost/was forced to give up everything she loved, so it when she finally breaks down later in the books and spirals, it makes complete sense and makes her so much more compelling than just the “crazy antagonist”. Love this animatic/map call! Can’t wait to see it finished 😄❤️✨
