Just to let you know your explanation of breach swapping is wrong, swapping your weapon when you attack actually just takes the properties of the second weapon (including for example the breach enchant or shield disabling (from an axe) ) and applies them to the first weapons damage, durability, and swing speed. This means you are basically enchanting your sword with breach 4, which is what gives it the damage ignoring effect.
