@@LimmieJurrell I said his ‘knowledge’ of music. The Isley brothers, Bobby Caldwell, Bruce Hornsby etc samples are from Tupac’s good taste in music. He was telling producers what songs he wanted them to sample and make a beat to
3:34 Like Shock G said.... "Tupac raps from the "pit of his stomach..." You can hear it in his vocal tones (how they raise or get more aggressive at certain parts of the song)... No artists do that... No better example of this (than some of his last recorded songs), like "All Out" "Hell 4 A Hustler" where he's angry/emotional, gasping for breath between each sentence. You can't teach that to music artists... either it's in them, or it's not.
Thank u for this!! All I've wanted to hear from the younger generation is that y'all actually FEEL this! Not just gibberish rap. He's trying to drill in your head to peep the game. Pac's intensity and passion to push that game out there and help people grow mentally was unmatched. I'm 40 and I enjoy watching reaction videos to our generation of street Artist's.
I was born in 1970. Im so glad as I was becoming a young man I had all this freat music to listen to from that era. Best times ever!!!!! Tupac was one of the best. Legends never die😢
Man music in the 90s was GOLDEN. I was born in 1991 but I do vividly remember it being so much music out (Hip Hop and R&B) that the radio played different songs once out the day and would be lucky to hear the same song twice within the same day. A rap song that's a classic for me is Dr Dre's Keep Their Heads Ringin. When I heard that song as a 4 yr old in 1995 I used to smile so hard while bobbing my head. I remember recording the radio on a cassette tape in 1996 or 1997 to catch a song that I really liked. I miss the 90s. Back in the 90s rappers told stories, some of them you could vibe to and some were deep. R&B at the time was VERY serious compared to now
As someone who grew up in this era and was young in this era, i would highly recommend the song "Hellrazor." It is on the album "R U Still Down." It is SO deep and has many layers. The first verse sets the plot, the situation. The second verse is a desperate plea for change, and the last verse is basically "Fuck it, all bets are off!!" Tupac conveyed his deepest inner thoughts so well and this song is an INCREDIBLE demonstration of just that. Much Love ❤️
Only took time to listen to this track about 2mnths ago, and i came to the conclusion that this dude was way ahead other arts, thats my opinion though!!!
I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS, THERE ARE A LOT OF GREAT RAPPERS OUT THERE FROM THE OLD SCHOOL, BUT THE WAY THIS MAN DELIVERS AND HE DOES IT WITH SO MUCH COMPASSION. TUPAC WILL NEVER BE TOUCHED LYRICALLY. R.I.P TO THE GREATEST.

Man all I think about is imagine with how emotion and raw 2pac raps and him doing a song with eminem cause em also has so many raw songs that u can feel his emotions..they are both poets..it would be epic!
For sure, you can tell Eminem got a lot of his style from Pac. He even said Pac is the best song writer of all time. Both of them on a track would he incredible.
I get kinda emotional listening to this song, because it’s 1 of the last tracks that 2pac made before his death. When you listen to the lyrics, it sounds like he knew his time on this earth wasn’t gonna be long 😢💔
Tupac 1 under pressure 2 dump ft Hussain fatal ft papose 3 ghost 4 watch your mouth (nas diss) 5 why you turn on me (Wendy William diss) 5 catchin feelings ( biggie & bad boys diss) 6 war games ( nas diss )

Cool I just wondering that's all
Pac’s knowledge of music is underrated. The amount of classic jazz, funk and soul samples he’s used in the production of his songs are legendary

Pretty much anything from all eyez on me (the whole album) and beyond! Pac = GOAT
You crazy some of his earlier days was dope to but Thug Life and Me Against the World is also goat status
