How can the ref behind the player make that call when he could not see it? The other ref had the perfect view to see his foot on the crease. Crease violation needs to be reviewable - so Duke wins with a goal that was not a goal

I wanted Duke to win and I’m annoyed that the game ended this way. First they need to get technology in stadium that will alert the ref when a player is in the crease they should have refs in the booth that is dedicated to just watching and officiating crease violations. All plays OT goals and plays in the last minutes of the quarters should be reviewable. Coaches should also get a challenge flag. You can’t blame the refs tho there is a shadow over is foot and is unseeable from the refs point of view. Blame the NCAA for the no review don’t blame the refs they officiated a good game and got all the other crease violations during the game. Unlucky for all penn state fans, as a Duke fan I have mixed emotions but go Duke.

It's a travesty that in 2023 the rules haven't caught up with technology yet. We have HD video of his foot in the crease, the refs have access to it.. and yet it's not reviewable. Shame on the NCAA. You really have to feel for Penn State, who obviously got robbed. But you also gotta feel for Duke, the rightful #1, and a team that is clearly good enough to win and yet walks away with a tainted one. Yes I do agree with all who believe this should have been reviewed! I've been an avid lacrosse follower since my participation in a junior HS summer league back in the mid to late '80s and the crease violation has always been up for debate as to what a violation is and what isn't (it's one of sports most inconsistent)! But if you watch this video closely when they're showing it in slow motion, I don't think it had anything to do with his foot touching the crease line! Because preceding that it's clearly evident that Leadmon was being shoved in the back before he was attempting his shot and before his foot came close to the line! I believe it wasn't called because the ref behind saw the shove and believed that created the momentum that caused the crease violation! Might sound a little crazy! But if he's not shoved he'd have been able to go airborne sooner with his shot! And I don't think anybody looked at that aspect because everyone was so quick to judge and be pissed off right away! Yes it should have been reviewed and yes they certainly need slow motion review but I believe it wasn't called because of the shove in the back! To all those who judge my comment nuts ill give u a heads up to rewatch the video again because the push in the back is obviously visible and it precedes Leadmon's shot attempt and causes added forward momentum! Had he not been in the process of being pushed, his foot doesn't hit the line! Criticize me all you want, but when you automatically assume what you think is right, you'll always miss a possible angle that argues your assumption JS

Let’s continue overtime and win the right way”. I have no horse in this race. Just wanted to see an exciting fair game. This takes even the excitement out of it.
