OP the GS in this upload is the most gorgeous color combination WITH the Z07 wide body package I am drooling over this one. The interior! That is actually very NICE! For once a Corvette interior that looks world class instead of looking like it was slapped together with pieces made from melted down old 8 bit Nintendo plastic. The carbon fiber all over the dash could have easily done without that glossy lacquer all over it but hey! Why not.
OP you may have just sold me my first Corvette.
Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX.
Congratulations on the new ride!
The last year for Corvette. The 2020's models are totally different.
I heard those stripes are duct tape.
What. Color. IS. THAT?!!?!!??
Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic
Buy used. American product values sink faster than anything. Rightfully so. They’re just not well engineered or built.
I almost disliked this video because of the price of the car...
I'll be the one positive comment... I love this car. It looks amazing and it's Mclaren 570S fast around the track for half the price.
Great video! I just purchased a 2019 Grand Sport and I also created a UA-cam channel to share my ownership experiences. Your videos are always informative, this one in particular was awesome!
Far better looking than the new C8 !
Since the z06 has 650hp....... why not give the Grand Sport 500hp?
Used c7s are getting just under 40k. Thats the way to buy em
Yep! I got my 2017 Stingray with magnetic ride, performance exhaust and ZF1 for $47k. 2014's can be found for around $32-36k.
Joshua Claypool sounds like a steal of a deal
I just bought a used 2016 base stingray 1lt. After tax it was 51k. Still too much. It was certified and i have put 400 miles on it and it is going into the shop monday. I am pissed
The color is ceramic grey. I just bought a 2019 Grand Sport in Sebring orange from Criswell in Maryland. Saved $13,700 off MSRP. Its a 2LT with performance data recorder and the $1495 aluminum wheel option.
What a beauty 🔥🔥🔥 if I buy one her in Sweden she will be in garage almost 9 month at least. Snow for 6 month almost frozen climate .
Grandsport rocks but should at this point put out 500 hp ...M7 or A10 should have been shoved in there at this point if not a dct. (Which the sports car should be offered) pretty car and quite tempting
Best c7 vette
@Brax_beezy seconded!
Even the zr1 isn’t worth $94,000. That much for a base corvette with a few add ons. Lol. Chevy is insane. Porsche any day.
Perfect if you wanted a track ready car and you wanted to add your own forced induction kit instead of the one that's on the Z06
Where's the 427CID NATURALLY ASPIRATED OHV VERSION, UPDATED.???
A little old and 2018? You Millennials are LOL.
Just drove one In Miami for the week. Great car !!!!
Drive a corvette, Porsche wallpaper
No, Porsche looks like a VW bug. Drive a Corvette, Ferrari or Pagani wallpaper.
Do You need all that CF or Features to jack up the cost?
Carroll nope. But if you want it Chevy has it. Appreciate it while you can because the next generations price is about to leave the stratosphere when it goes mid engine.
What Mid-Engine Corvette? It's fodder GM would do that for Old White Guys.. The Current Corvette is for Everyone to dream for one day.. Mid-Engine would be for one Model out there like the Ford GT that is not a hot seller and produced in Canada... There are 3 Levels of the Corvette, not so for Mid-Engine anything.. And also storage. The GM Chevy Corvette has that now... The Ford GT does not!
Bargain?
Isn't it $60,000?
What's name this color? please
Yummy @_@
The 1LT model starts at $52,800 and performs perfectly.
6 model years of the C7 and the 2019 Corvette is virtually IDENTICAL to the 2014 model especially the 7 Speed manual models! No performance bump no styling difference just minor minor crap!Yes 2015 auto lovers got the 8 speed BIG WHOOP!You can do better CHEVY!Only too rich too stupid or a little bit of both buy them new!Me?Im neither which is why I’m shopping for a 2015 A8 and save myself about $30k over a 2019...
LMAO, $94,000 for a base Vette with a bodykit? No.
Ah, no. The base Vette does not have the drysump system, diff cooler, wide body with wider tires, etc. Many differences.
The z51 package on the Stingray has the dry sump, diff cooler, ELSD, and larger (not GS/Z06 sized though) brakes. The Grand sport gets you the widebody with wider tires, even bigger brakes, and the option for the carbon ceramics and more agressive aero in the Z07 package.
I would rather buy a used c7 zo6 for less than that!!!
For that price with the options, I might as well get a Porsche 911 GTS at 450hp instead. It’s 10hp lower than this Vette and at less than half the displacement with two fewer cylinders, but should still be just as quick.
lol, when I test drove the Porsche 911 Carrera, I had to move up to a 911 Carrera S just to match the base Corvette Stingray. And the 911 Carrera S was $130k.
I love cars that smell like adhesives. Only GM has that quality
I smell jealousy...
Leather in American cars is not great.
You forgot to mention it comes with Chevy's excellent horrible death trap reliability.
GiovanniLACA17XD could just learn to drive and not be a lazy old person? 🤷♂️
Death trap reliability? Compared to what? Lay off the drugs.
GiovanniLACA17XD they've gotten better. It's nowhere near as bad as it once was. Plus if you own this, odds are its not your only car. That moves reliability down the needs spectrum.
The C7 is actually leaps and bounds better than the older Vette's. I wouldn't have an older one.
I had a 2012 Corvette GS with little over 60k miles when i sold it and it was rock solid the 5 years i had it.
Overpriced piece of Detroit crap!.....cheap plastics and poor build quality.
yep..another toyota-ryder!!!step-DOWN!!
