Tried these amazing cookes for the second time. I measured the flour and, this time around, I made a a couple subsitutions and they are absolutely fantastic. I used butter vanilla emulsion instead of plain vanilla, and added 2 drops of creme bouquet! This took these amazing cookies to a whole new level. I put Cold water in my measuring cup and then pour it out and then put the peanut butter in. It’s easier to get it out of the measuring cup just saying my tip for the day. Love your channel.

I made cookies! I made vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies! And the are divine! Thanks SO much!!! I never eat cookies because I can’t have them. Now I can make them. Definitely going in the freezer! I can’t eat all those cookies that fast.
I made basically these today, I used milk chocolate and peanut butter chocolate chips, and I like to go 375 for 9 minutes. I also don't have an electric mixer, I always make cookies by hand which I think helps keep them light. Oh I also moisten the bottom of a drinking glass lightly, and dredge it in some granulated sugar, and then lightly flatten the cookies with that. You can even do it after they come out of the oven if you forgot.

Just made these with my many-times-adapted from VICTORIA’S KETO KITCHEN (einkorn version)flour, and my own sugar replacement blend - which has SOME - necessary - sugar (measured 1-1 with the recipe, increased brown sugar substitute) - and it worked perfectly. I added extra peanut butter, as this was my 2nd try with the recipe and made that note. They were delicious the first time too. These are even better. Thank you for all your recipes - this one especially right now! 🎉❤ WONDERFUL! 😊🎉

I decided to make these instead of Peanut Butter Blossoms this holiday season. 😉💗 I tried making these but they're very crumbly and the butter seems like overkill. I believe baking the full 15 minutes help them stay together better. But still just too greasy from the butter. So I'm going to maybe add only a stick and 2 extra Tbsp next time. First of all your spice cake is the best cake I have ever made in my life. To me, I don’t taste as much of a peanut butter flavor when I use the process peanut butter I prefer the natural, but this was a very easy to follow recipe. 😊

It’s pretty straightforward. You saw him forget to zero out the scale - that’s the main thing to remember. 1. Turn on the scale, place your bowl, hit the “TARE” button to make the scale read zero, add your ingredient, hit “TARE” again for the next ingredient. Sometimes I use an old plastic bowl & weight things ahead before assembly.
@@danbev8542 I find that if I put the bowl on the scale before I turn it on, the scale doesn't register the bowl at all, so it starts at zero. Then, I just tot up the amounts so that I have the correct number of grams for each item. That's quite straightforward.
This is a great question... I'm in the UK where we learned with weighing scales not cups at school - easy to take such knowledge for granted! There's already some vids on UA-cam, in case you can't wait for John to show you how 🤓
@@bobr6318 I'm British, in the UK....scales are so easy to use. The way I described is the easiest and most efficient way, and John has actually shown how to do it in older videos. It's the most accurate way to measure food. Modern scales will also measure in both grams and ounces, which Americans use, so these modern scales do make cooking easier on both sides of the pond.
